I've been lucky and have seen all of my favorite bands. I was just thinking of my first.

Guns N Roses at Irvine Meadows in Irvine,CA 1990.

I was 12 and in love with them. I had to beg my mom to let me go, the only reason she let me was it was that I went with my older brother

Skid Row opened and then GNR came on, they played for about 20 minutes...Axl threw a fit(and the mic) and marched off stage in a rage.

Go back in time and share your first show with the rest of us!

It's real hard to say the which was the best show. Could be PJ,2nd row in cinci a few years ago :luv:, or Rilo Kiley in Anaheim 2 yrs ago...hmmm wow, very hard to say..there are so many. Maybe Tori Amos at the Palace here in Louisville.

anyway, go ahead guys

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

First concert I can remember seeing is Johnny Cash with my father in about 72 or 73. We got to briefly go backstage to meet them. I remember his wife being real nice and offering me a soda.

Maybe the anticipation of wanting to see Led Zep was so high for me was partly it and it was the Presence tour and late 70's. Have many other faves and did think Pink Floyd Animal tour was awesome.

The best local lounge band was Stevie Ray Vaugn

Thats a tough one, there were several. The Some Girls tour, the Animal tour, the hell freezes over tour, those are just a few that really sticks out.

Animal tour tour was awesome. Played the whole wish you were here and dark side of the moon albums in concert. and ole yeah Animals.

 They did Wish You Were Here first and then Animals at the concert we went to. This was in Anaheim Stadium back in about 76 or so. Anyway, after they finished Animals they left the stage. There is no way they could do a tour date back then without doing Money. Everyone started leaving so we went right to the front of the stage and got to see Dark Side from about 10 feet.

That is what I remember now too. They finally came and started playing dark side of the moon and it looked like they were going to play the whole album and then the rain came. Maybe no finer album played in concert than Wish you were here. Physical Graffiti by Led Zep was close.

They must have had a lot of probs with that big pig. I remember it inflated and then promptly deflated. Maybe it was staged to be that way. I seem to remember the pig had red glowing eyes but I that may be drug induced.

That would be a KISS concert in 2004 (it might be 2003; I can't remember exactly) at the Cynthia Mitchell Woodlands Pavilion. I was practically deaf for three days after that concert.

LOL. I saw Kiss way back in 1975 with Bob Seager as the opening act at the Summit. Lat concert I saw at Woodlands was Emerson, Lake and Palmer. Great outdoor venue.

Snoop Dogg at Hara Arena in 1997. There's nothing like the show stopping, the lights coming on, and a HUUUUGE gang fight clearing half the seats right in the middle of the performance. Talk about "keeping it real." Fo' shizzle!
