Yes, it is before the IRS deadline right now... but by the time we get our interviews it will be after the deadline. I have heard from others that they have been declined visas at the interviews until they could produce a most recent tax statement. So, I figured I might as well just include it now and kill two birds with one stone.

I was planning on including 2008. I thought that we had to. I have been hearing the opposite... that people are getting RFE's for not including 2008. So, I was planning on submitting 2008, 2007 and 2006.

Maybe it is because the applicant was submitting a 1040A? I am not sure... I know that my 2008 return is a 1040 and the 2007 and 2006 returns are 1040EZ.

You are mailing before the IRS deadline,so you should send only 2007, 2006, 2005. But again, please call NVC and ask them. OR to be on the safe side you can include all four, so if they don't need 2005, they will disregard it.

I think I'll go ahead and send transcripts of 2007, 2006, 2005, as well as photocopy of my 2008's 1040A, W2 and 1099 forms. I'll write a note explaining that I have recently filed 2008.

I'd like to include the 2008 return but technically 2007 is still my latest return as the 2008 hasn't been processed by the IRS yet by the time NVC receives my AOS packet.

Thanks for your help guys!

starting april 1st theres an expected delay in approvals since USCIS started to accept H-1B petitions for the fiscal year 2010 program (form I-129 nonimmigrant workers )

all the four service centers proceed such forms .USCIS received since april 1st about 42,000 of that form and yet still need another 14,000 more till they reach the limit thts put by congress each year for that type of forms

FYI : USCIS must approve(by law ) these petitions tht i talked about in 6 months time ..

no doubt that shift alot of resources tht were avaliable earlier for that fast approvals we all seen

lets get hope i just thoughrt to share this with u guys

Good Luck

Good to know, that's why the approvals nearly stopped suddenly. Thank you. This really sucks for those waiting for approvals. Sorry.

Let's hope that these NOA2 delays are not because of these H1b petitions. You know that's why I don't vote for nobody, neither for republicans nor for democrates. These politicians do not work for citizens, they work for these corporate giants!!!! Good luck to all!!!

Well now doesn't that just totally suck?? I was one of the people who's application hit right at the beginning of March. I hope we don't get stuck forever. Damn.

On 4/3 it said on the USCIS website that our approval notice was mailed to us on 4/3.

I have not received it yet, so I checked website again today and the last update is on 4/6 -same status.

I have a feeling they did not mail it out on 4/3 like it says, but mailed it out on 4/6 ... Unless the post office is closed for Good Friday, then I should finally receive it today
