There are about 20 people from the first time around that either didn't respond or wanted to wait to make an order. I would be happy to place another order in about a month if you all are still interested. Just send me a PM with how you want to pay and we'll see if we get enough orders for a 2nd order.

The cookbooks came in last night and they're FANTASTIC!!! They turned out better than I thought they would! I'm so excited for you all to get them and send in ur feedback! I'm going to try my absolute best to get them to all of you by Christmas.

I want everybody to have one :) so please contact me if you missed out the first time around!!! I think you'll be very pleased with the results!

Even though I am a newbie, I would love to buy one. I LOVE to cook and would like some great ideas for when Aziz gets here. How much are they? Drop me a line for all the details.

I would love to get a cookbook as well. How much are they? When I go to Morocco Abdou always asks me to cook something and its usually something Moroccan that he's showed me how to make only once before...I need to practice and a cookbook would be awesome! Let me know when you plan to order :D

Kind of off topic, but my husband still laughs at me when I pull out a written recipe. He's got it all up in his head -- I don't think I've ever seen him read a recipe, and I'm sure his mom doesn't. But I like the security of having it in front of me so I don't forget anything, although I have memorized some of my husband's favorites. I also really enjoy trying new recipes, especially when friends recommend them.

Late last night, my husband started digging in the fridge. I asked him if he was going to cook something, and he said, "Oh, no." I saw him pull out the leftover turkey and start slicing a tomato, so I thought he'd show up on the sofa with a sandwich. Next thing I know, I hear the skillet sizzling, and a few minutes later, he comes in with a yummy concoction of turkey, eggs, jalapenos, olives, tomatoes, spices, and I don't know what else. But apparently that didn't count as cooking.

oooooooooook, the cookbook is compiled of most of the recipes from "the sultan's kitchen" thread that is pinned here in mena. I was tired of going through each page looking for the recipe I wanted, and then after finding it..printing it and then losing it by the next time I wanted to prepare the dish. I decided to put them all in 1 handy book that could be kept in the kitchen ready to use.

There are around 220 recipes in the book so it's quite large. The cost the first time was 27 dollars but I will have to increase that due to what it cost me to ship them. Believe it or not, the average price for me to ship each book was 6.25!!! I initially planned on it being around 2 or 3 dollars but I was incorrect. I ended up paying around 100 dollars out of pocket to get them made and shipped so that is why I'll have to raise the price with the next shipment to $30.00.

So..u'd get

1 book

around 220 me/na recipes

price:$30.00

a happy tummy :)

That is too funny! Well, you know a lot of the things that are prepared in MENA are just whatever is in the cupboard, and a lil of finger crossing for the results.. I have learned--I AM DEFINATELY NOT AN EXPERT--that some of the strangest combinations in my mind come out to be the most terrific and tasty treats/meals while I am there! Then I get grumpy once I am home, because I don't remember EXACTLY what we ate for this meal or that?! I REALLY REALLY LOVE the lamb sandwiches rolled up in the flat bread thinggy and sliced just so! Makes my mouth water just thinking about it-- This cook book was a terrific idea, and don't worry if you need to take a recipie out, literacy never hurt anyone right?! lol :star: -Amy
