no no, I really want no compensation from it. I just want you to like the books and put them to good use. If that happens, then it is money well spent B) If I would have been smart, I would have guestimated over what I thought it would be but I didn't want to charge too much....I guess that happens to a lot of first time sellers lol. I know now for next time that I need to charge just a little bit more to cover the shipping. Lesson learned. I'm totally content with it and want you all to be too. You're too sweet!

ok ok-- so you learned your lesson, and now if $3 at a time shows up in your mail box, you can concider it a blessing that all lessons don't have to cost something! I am sure we will love the cookbooks, with my plan you can go buy yourself a burger every time you get a "special envelope" in the mail! Then we are making sure no food is being taken off your table!-we love ya amal!

April 29, 2008-met Amin- the man of my dreams&love of my life! May 29,2008- flew to Jordan June 1, 2008-started the long CRAZY process of standing in line, waiting for stamps, and being sent from one office to another only to pay another fee and find another line! June 3,2008-The HAPPIEST DAY OF MY LIFE! June 11, 2008- Returned home,started paperwork.June 30, 2008-Sent off I-130 pkt to Chicago.July 3, 2008-I-130 pkt received, fwd to CSC.August 4, 2008-NOA #1 August 11, 2008-Sent in I-129F pkt to CSC.August 18, 2008-NOA#2*APPROVED*September 4, 2008-NVC printed AOS instructions-(mailed Sept. 8) September 13, 2008-Rec'd AOS Bill in the mail.[/i] September 15, 2008-Used online payment option.-October 14, 2008-Sent off AOS packet with joint sponsor info.-rec'd@NVC Oct 15. October 30,2008-Got RFENovember 12, 2008-Priority to NVC,BIOGRAPH/Certs!Here we go![/b]November 19,2008RFE!#######!-overnite Nov 25-3 December, 2008-CASE COMPLETE NVC!INTERVIEW FEB 18TH-Approved!!!February 28,2009 HUBBY ARRIVED ON SATURDAY FEBRUARY 28TH, 2009---LIFE HAS JUST BEGUN!!!!ALHAMDULALLAH!

Amal... just got my cook book and Ya Rab it's beautiful the words on the intro page almost made me cry and your note Shoookran!!!! i love it... it is by far the most favorite cook book i have.....

Got married : 6-3-06

I-130 delivered : 6-12-06 - Appt in Cairo

I-130 Approved : 4-18-08 - USCIS approval!!

Visa Interview Date : 6-22-08

Case sent to WADC: 8-6-08 - FBI check

Email From Embassy 1-09 - Still in AP (7 months)

19 DHL scans - 2-19-09

1-26-09 - Out of AP, now final review

2-26-09 - Visa in hand!

3-11-09 - POE JFK - Got stuck there due to immigration taking too long. They didn't change his visa from CR1 to IR1, have to go to immigration here to fix it.

3-12-09 - Arrived in Portland!!

5-29-2010 - Zane was born ** Absolute best day of my life!

6-7-2010 - Ahmed went back to Egypt

8-23-11 - Filed for divorce

1-12-12 - Divorce final

Amal it's GREAT! I'm so glad that we got two, even though one is supposed to be a gift, I'd have never gotten to see it if I only got one because I couldn't get it out of Jihed's hands. He absolutely loves it! Go figure! The intro made me tear up - very beautiful! You rock and Jihed and I are both VERY impressed! You did an amazing job and I'm so glad that we have this! Definitely ready to put it to use! And I agree, if you need a bit more to cover the shipping, please PM me and let me know and I'll pay pal it over to you! I know mine was over $7 to ship and I think the books are worth WAY more than what you asked for them! And I love the hand written note inside! You're so sweet :luv:

Im doubley extra excited to get our cookbooks!!! I ordered two and I know getting it over here to GA would take some money to ship. I can pay you back in paypal for the shipping. I cant wait to get them !!! Maybe I will get them on Monday!!!

I'm soooooooooooooo glad you all liked them so much :) :) :) I'm grinning from ear to ear at all of your sweet comments!! Thanks for letting me know what you think :) I was nervous coz I knew I thought they were awesome but didn't know how well they'd go over outside my personal thoughts lol.

I honestly don't expect any compensation for shipping. I can't stop you if you choose to send it but I'd rather you all just enjoy the books. That would be compensation enough for me :)

take the return payment amounts however big or small, add them together and get something from you MENA friends for your new house, a memory in the making :thumbs:
