Languages

I speak french as native language, English, german and gaeilic....

I have started learning japanese a while back and would love to go back into it...

I "know" English, French, and Chinese (Cantonese)... but I could really use some help with brushing up on the last two.

I'd love to learn Spanish and Mandarin Chinese because they're practical languages, but I'd love to be able to speak in many languages I want to learn Esperanto and "click languages" just for fun, and Latin will always come in handy.

Coming from a country with two official languages - English and French, I would like to learn French. I was taught some in school but have forgotten it all. Encouraging my son to take French (and he is) in case he decides he wants to return to Canada to live and work.

One of the 1st things we're doing here once we get settled is taking Spanish together at night school.

That's cool! But the pronounciation is tricky. I can never say "Xièxie" (Thank you). I try to say it but it sounds like "Ché-Chié" - which actually sounds quite funny in French...

I am a teacher in San Diego, so I had to learn Spanish to communicate with the parents of my students.

I would like to learn French. I visited France once and I would like to go back--but I think I would have a better time if I could communicate with the people there.

It's one of the principal languages of the Philippines. And it's pronounced tuh-GAL-og, not like "tagalong" without the N (TAG-uh-log), which is how I used to always pronounce it.
