I was in the process of getting a divoce... and was dating casually. I wasn't looking for a relationship at all and neither was he. When I met Marky playing a game online we became friends quickly. I used to tell him about my dates in graphic detail. Our friendship grew and our feelings for each other deepened.... then we met in person and confirmed that the feelings are real. You can guess the rest. :P

Well,I'd have to say freshly out of something I thought was a relationship and looking fr company but certainly not for the man to marry.

Oh well,we met and it hit us real hard when he got his orders to return to the USA just 1 1/2 half months after we met.And by the time he actually had to leave Germany,almost 3 months to the day after we met,we KNEW it was serious.

It wasn't always easy but we made it and now are going to put our I 129F in soon.Flöying to the USA to see him in 19days!!!!!!! CAN'T wait!!!!!!

Nat

let them keep you safe

we'll join you one day

in that wonderful place

stand on the clouds and never forget

we're holding on to you

in our memories and thoughts

until one day we'll meet again

Fasting and seeking the will of God.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Oh I love this thread and reading all these stories!

I was 8 months out of a relationship that had dragged on and off for a few years. I was on a business trip in Mexico City and our meeting was pure chance. Two weeks later I went back with a girlfriend who just happened to be in town visiting and the airfare just happened to be an amazing deal. We spent the weekend with him and a couple months later he came to visit me - and stayed for a year and a half.

I was single and actively looking. Jenny was married (hadn't seen her husband in 4 years) and was actively looking. I live in a small town where the 3 most eligible bachelorettes were an axe murderer, a drug dealer, and someone tweaking out on Meth. I got onto this great international date line and was suddenly chatting with fascinating women around the world. Jenny pounced on me my 3rd day on the line and it was love at first chat. The compatibility was amazing. When I first saw her at the airport in Davao City, it was like we had been together for years. No awkwardness.
