Hey everyone,

Our interview is coming up Tuesday, 22nd, and I've got everything put together ( i hope) and I was wondering, online the case status says its still in the Missouri Service Center, but our interview is in Atlanta... what is the deal with that??

AND ALSO ANY INTERVIEW TIPS, ETC WOULD BE APPRECIATED AT THIS TIME, TO HELP US GET PREPARED!!!!

Hi Jillian and Alan,

On the bottom of the apt letter is the address you are to appear at.. Pay no attention to the online status, our status wasnt updated until after our interview and was always days behind.

As for tips, Relax, take a deep breath and dont worry. HAve all your paperwork in order and know what each one is.

The questions they will ask are only the questions they have the answers to in all the paperwork you provided.

Answer only the question, do not get nervous and try to elaborate.

Im sure you are well prepared, just focus on the outcome....the green card for your spouse.

Mine said the same thing; I don't trust the online stuff anyway, only what I get in the mail.

For the interview, you can read a few interview experiences from your local office, get the directions you need for the location :P

Be yourself, if you have the right documents you'll be fine. It's a lot less stressful than you think it is.

I think that the fact that you are prepared and the way you naturally behave with your spouse play a bit part on the way the interview goes.

08.2006: Entered with a B-2 visa.

07.06.07: Civil Wedding

07.17.2008 AOS approved with interview. It took 367 Days!

11.08.08: Big family wedding

09.18.09-10.03.09: First trip to France with Hubby

I-751

04.19.10: Package sent to Vermont

04.21.10: Delivered in Vermont

Just remember to organize all your documents. Bring all documents that shows your relationship together. Bring emails, photos, and cards. Remember to eat breakfast because you will be there for a while. Remember to relax. Good luck with your interview. Please update us with your result.

Be over-prepared than under-prepared from the documentation perspective. Arrange them appropriately so that you can give the officer the document as soon as he requests it. Don;t sit searching in front of the officer.

Thanks everyone!!! It is 3 am right now and my husband and I are on here reading all your nice comments of wishes and he was like "wow... everyone is soo nice!" THANKS GUYS AND KEEP PRAYING FOR US! We are leaving in the morning and staying in a hotel close to the USCIS office tommorrow night so we can be stress free lol, or as close to that as we can get come Tuesday morning at 8:!
