:yes: I'm starting to think maybe my fiance should look more into what it takes to come to canada and live. It's just so frustrating having to wait so long. We had to wait a year for my divorce to get on the ball and then 4 months after that for it to be final and now this #######. It's just really really stressful but im doing my best to keep it together.

Sorry to hear you feel that way, but don't give up. I have days like that too. Even though we are so happy now that I got my K-1 this week, having to quit my job and move, thinking of AOS and being unable to work for a while makes me really worried. Kind of happy and worried about what's yet to come in the new country.

I wish you all the best. It will all work out at the end. :)

this is ana's fiance actually haha but yea i think about it all the time. I think about moving to brasil and learning portuguese and teaching english or something because i dont know how much longer ana and i can take this wait. we are both depressed and she has panic attacks and things its really hard to deal with. we got our second noa April 13th ... 4 weeks later.. still nothing.. so... yea. Living in brasil is always crossing my mind..

11/14/2006 AOS packet made it to 'the box' after being overnighted.

12/02/2006 Paul had biometrics

12/14/2006 AOS Forwarded to CSC AND AP Application approved.

01/17/2007 First touch of 2007 at CSC

01/20/2007 Touched AGAIN (also the 18th) come on...

February: Oops, RFE for a REGISTERED marriage certificate. Oops! Overnighted it.

02/28/2007 Paul gets email letting us know his GREENCARD is on it's way! It's done...for now!

03/09/2007 Paul's greencard arrives. And breathe...

We began with mailing the I-129 in on February 27, 2006 so the whole process took us approx. one year.

If I could find a decent job in Italy, I would consider moving there, at least for a few years. But I think ultimately, complicated process or not, my fiance' and I would end up in the US. :)

10/2/2006: NOA1's for AOS and EAD applications

10/13/2006: Biometrics taken

10/14/2006: NOA -- case transferred to CSC

10/30/2006: AOS approved without interview, greencard will be sent! :)

11/04/2006: Greencard arrives in the mail! :-D

... No more USCIS for two whole years! ...

In reality that would be my preference. We plan on living here for 10 years and then I will retire in the Philippines. If I could find a job there I would move tomorrow.
