We both wear ours all the time. I have mine taken in twice a year for cleaning and inspecting of prongs etc. but just wait at the jewellers for them to complete this service.

I'd be interested to hear about people who take theirs off, and their reasons? Showering? Washing dishes? I've never heard of this until now. What would be the reason?

Ok, yeah....I will take of my rings when I'm cooking something that I have to get my hands in and get messy.

Maybe it depends on what kind of ring you wear? I've seen a few that I'd be squeemish about digging in the garden with etc. Like very big or intricate settings. I wanted an "everyday" kind of engagement ring so that I COULD wear it when I was doing anything. It gets stuff in it, then I get a toothbrush out and get scrubbing!

Both. All the time.

i don't think women should wear their rings all the time. like when cooking and cleaning, which should take up about 50% of their time.

Well, men shouldn't wear theirs either the 50% of the time they are lying on the sofa with their mouth open watching TV.

I mean, it could cut off the circulation in their ring finger from the death grip they have on the remote.

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

I pretty much wear mine all the time. I take it off to shower, work out, sleep, or swim. I also take it off when I put lotion on my hands but just for that little bit.

Javi wears his almost all the time too. He does masonry work for a living so he doesn't wear it then. He doesn't take his off to shower, work out, or sleep though. He even wore it on the beach which totally freaked me out.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!
