So my stupid a$$ neighber decided to get a family pet. What do they get? A freakin rooster!

Do you live in the countryside? Where I live, people have lots of roosters... and llamas too!

I live in a city, this guy lives in an apartment!!!!!!!This is like that darn episode of Friends when Joey and Chandler get the chick that turns out to be a rooster. :lol:

Where Luz lives (Philippines) EVERYONE it seems has a rooster. ####### fighting is the national sport I think. All day and all night they crow. I have gotten used to it and it doesn't bother me now. She lives in a crowded urban setting but that doesn't seem to matter, there are dozens of them on her block.

They have 4 small kids, god forbid something happen to them with all the bird flu stuff going on.

:angry: its sooooooooo irritating.

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? A rooster???? #######!

If you live in an apt, surely there is some health/animal/whatever code that says there cannot be a fluckin ROOSTER in someone's apt

If this apartment is in California you can complain about disturbing the peace to the police. Doesn't seem like a cat or fox or weasel is going to help you.

ha ha ha ... I would definaetly look at the ordinance part.. specially being in a city.

I live in Oregon... just outside Portland.. I am in county limits... .. three years ago.. my silly DAUGHTER.. who was attending Culinary school thought it would be fantastic to raise chickens for eggs.... .. good thought but think .. kids.. and parents with kids pets.. augh....

Just as in the Friends show... we purchased 4. baby chicks.. low and behold one of these chicks started to crowwwwwww... . and the other three would chase and follow it around like a little puppy... .. this chick did not have a waddle or crown... at least not then..... I have a 1/2 acre back yard.. and do you think this stupid bird would stay in the coop .. noooo he taught the others to roost in the apple trees.. ... .. within a few months.. .. the squawking turned into croowing.. rather sickly crowing.. and we did decide this thing was indeed a damn rooster... ... .. long story short... .. my daughter .. soon had the opportunity to practice her butchering skills.....

here in the county .. we can have i believe one rooster.. in city .. it is limited to 4 chickens onlyand no roosters.. but if it is a neusance.. speak up ...

have seen enough animal rescue shows to see that .. ####### fighting is not allowed... .. and definaetly ... roosters in a apartment is a big no no no

I think i would send a simple note to the management of the apartment..

Love isn't love unless it is expressed;

caring isn't caring unless the other person knows;

sharing isn't sharing unless the other person is included
