I just want to say, Thank You Diana! I was reading this thread and about to moan about no being touched since my NOA1 and then I read your reply. I never thought about it in that way. I can rest a little bit now and just go back to watching the grass grow a little higher. But I still can't wait to hold my Beloved Joynelyn in my arms again.

I don`t think they do use a system of any sorts, from the way NOA2s are coming in it would seem it is completely random how and when the cases are being processesed....

complete lack of organization I`m afraid, I so want to get a job there and straigthen it all out....

it will come though

it would seem from the majority of NOA2 dates, that they send them out on weekly basis- this last week the spurt happened on tuesday when it really seemed like they were on fire.....

but then nothing for the rest of the week

and the same the week before that....

so, we all wait for the beginning of the next one :star:

Naturalized! Yeah!

I'm still waiting and my NOA1 is February 8. I'm starting to get really anxious since it seems like everyone is getting approved!!! I guess we just keep waiting...

You ve been touched recently,... thats a really good sign...... did they send a touch all on their own or did you contact them about your case.. and then they touched you?

I have no hope... i havent even been touched :(

I emailed CSC and then was touched two time in the following two days. But, I still feel really frustrated with the whole thing because people with NOA1 dates in late Feb/early March are already being approved while people with January and early Feb. NOA1s are still waiting. I just hope we all hear something in the next couple of days... Patience is not my strong suit, but I'm trying :(

I know what you mean Kara, mine was only touched after an email too, they touched three times in row after I sent them an email and now nothing, it is very frustrating. My NOA1 was 1/23 and a lot of people from Feb and March are getting approved and it does seem as if they just skipped over our cases or something. It is really weird, and I know how it feels about running out of patience, I am starting to run low in that area as well. But I am trying really hard, I know in the long run, it will be well worth the wait, but I just dont understand why we have to wait when others do not, I think that is the worst part...wishing everyone the best

Hi all. Well our timeline says it all below. Unlike most posters here, we live together (very happily :P) and we have been so bold as to actually make plans for the future, with relevant dates. This waiting for the process to resolve wouldn't be so hard except for those plans being affected...

Thankfully CSC returned my birth certicate (posted May 3) so at least I know that my I129F didn't get misplaced between TSC and CSC, and I like to pretend that they were happy enough with what was inside not to accompany it with an RFE... but I am trying not to get my hopes up. It seems when in this process, every day you go over in your head what else you could've done!

People mention that they call and email CSC because they want some attention. It's understandable but I wonder how many of the thousands of applicants do this and its impact to the productivity of the employees. What if no one sent a nag email just to get a touch, would it matter?

On the phone with CSC once, to process an address change, I asked why we had been moved from TSC to CSC. He claimed they had more resources in CSC. (shrug) Maybe someone out there had heard something more definite? An informative link, anyone?

For all of you waiting out there, here's a little something I heard when I got lost in CSC's automated phone system:

They "process cases in the order they are received so as not to make customers wait." I found that very interesting, given how many NOA2s there have been lately for people who submitted in late February or March!

I still don't understand. I probably never will.

I don't think its even worth the time to try and understand how CSC operates. It's a waste of energy because there is no consistency to anything whatsoever. I'm still waiting from Jan 26. To think there is someone waiting from Jan 4 (visrit) is just gut wrenching. I really don't know if they realize they are toying with people's lives here or what. Ah well......guess the name of the game is patience.

government jobs are cool, no work on friday, you work only the first 5 hrs and then chill for 3 hrs, and you get holidays and all sorts of good perks. You can be as lazy as you want. ITs harder to get fired also
