Wesley Snipes sentenced, Do you have any sympathy for him?

No! I pay my taxes, so he has to pay his taxes too. He has to get with the program or the machine break down. We can't have that...can we?

"Credibility in immigration policy can be summed up in one sentence: Those who should get in, get in; those who should be kept out, are kept out; and those who should not be here will be required to leave."

"...for the system to be credible, people actually have to be deported at the end of the process."

US Congresswoman Barbara Jordan (D-TX)

Testimony to the House Immigration Subcommittee, February 24, 1995

Oh well, pay your taxes or move to a different country. No I am not sorry for him, he is rich enough to have people take care of things like this.

I hate to see him have to spend 3 years in prison for tax evasion, but I don't know much about the details. Apparently, he made some really poor choices with his money.

I think most celebrities hire personal managers and accountants who are responsible for making the big money decisions.

Edit: Ah, ok....I just read that he is a tax protester...believes that taxes are illegal. Interesting.

I feel bad he's in prison. I dont' really think he's a hardened criminal. But, I do feel he acted like an idiot, snubbing his nose as taxes in general PUBLICALLY and not he acts like he had no clue. What a crock!

He gets one year of supervised release in that 3 year sentence.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip
