I'm on cloud 9 right now! :innocent:

My fiance passed his interview this morning at the Ethiopian embassy. :dance:

I was so nervous and I didn't get to call him because my phone was broken. He sent me an e-mail this morning saying he passed and he'll pick up his visa on Tuesday!

Seriously without out you guys and this forum I wouldn't have gone this far. Its so unreal.

12/27/07- I-129F sent to VSC

1/04/2008- NOA 1

1/10/2008- *touched* (if that means anything)

2/17/2008- Touched....(everyone once to be touched)

3/5/2008- NOA 2

3/7/2008- NVC recieved

3/9/2008- NVC send to US embassy in Ethiopia

3/14/2008- US embassy in Ethiopia will receive

3/30/2008- Packet 3

4/24/2008- Interview YAYAYAYAYAYAY!

4/29/2008- PICK UP VISA ALHAMDULLIAH! GOD IS GREAT

7/20/08 - AOS/EAD/AP sent to Chicago Lockbox

11/18/08 - AOS approved!!!

11/25/08 - Received welcome letter...and Green Card!!!

12/21/08 - ceremonial wedding

10/9/10 - Sent I-751 and started the fresh hell that is ROC

10/14/10 - NOA1 for ROC

10/29/10 - received appointment for Biometrics

11/22/10 - Biometrics appointment

Currently: Living blissfully with my Essex lad...

September 2006 to March 2008, 11 visits, 5 in Canada, 6 in NJ

Officially Engaged December 24th, 2007!!!

Moved to the U.S. to be with my baby on July 19th, 2008 on a K1 visa!!!!

***10 year green card in hand as of 2/2/2012, loving and living life***

Hmmm maybe we should move back to Canada! lol smile.png

Congrats on the successful Visa process. How did the I-134 go? What kind of questions did they ask?

He said they asked 12 questions!!!!!! I don't know what they are yet because I wasn't able to call him, he just sent me an email.

I did the I-134 and sent it through the U.S postal service and it never got to him. We were nervous about what they were going to say and if they were going to deny him on that basis. He said they asked him for the I-134 he told them "I don't have it" they said "No Problem, we can do without it" :blink: .

So I guess the I-134 is not required in Ethiopia.

May 22nd 2008 interview
