Which is the best, quickest and safest postal service to use for sending the K1 packet and cheque? My fiance thinks Fedex is probebly the most reliable. She wants to keep track of it, when she sends it. I have seen a few posts on here with other filers getting there's lost.

Thanks

Any carrier is fine: UPS, FEDEX, DHL, etc.... they all give tracking numbers. I only use FEDEX because they're inexpensive compared to UPS and I've never had a problem with them. Probably also use them because I used to work for them.

I used USPS Express mail, registered. I got a tracking number which I was able to use online to track the package. It got to CSC at 9:34 in the morning, the day after I sent it.

I think just about anything that gives you a tracking number is good, though it is also nice having that green card in my hand showing they "signed" for it (actually stamped it, but whatever)

Good Luck!

UPS worked great for me.

Just be careful about addresses. FedEx, UPS and DHL don't deliver to PO boxes.

I prefer the US Postal service. In a months long process, I've never seen the need to overnight anything. Express mail is fine but I just use Priority Mail and add delivery confirmation. It isn't "tracking". The number gets you delivery confirmation.

For International Shipment, DHL has the most experience and best record to most locations within most countries.

A matter of personal preference... I see no reason to use a service other than the USPS for this, but that is simply my preference.

YMMV

I used USPS overnight service with confirmation of delivery. After so many years waiting to get to this point I wanted it there 'yesterday'!

The receipt number does allow you to track it online. It will tell you each time it's scanned in when it arrives or departs a location on the way. You will know what time it was delivered and who it was 'signed' by. Once it's delivered you can get an email with a copy of the signature and then a confirmation of delivery will come in the form of a card to your address.

Might be overkill but it's what WE wanted. Well worth the $24!

I prefer Express mail from the Post Office. It's the cheapest and fast as the rest of them.

All is relative... $24 would have been unacceptable for me, however, Priority 2-3 day with delivery confirmation for $5.65 was OK

Whatever works for you, works for you. For me, I agree with the cheaper rates whenever possible, for equal service. It's all a game of hurry up and wait in this procees anyhow.

With all the petitions i've seen/heard were 'lost' along the way... that extra $19 to get it there overnight and know for certain it was put in the right hands gave me GREAT sense of peace relatively quickly! I'd have paid much more! To each his own though. ;)

I recently sent 7 lbs of evidence/documents and 3 lbs of food items by USPS EXPRESS international . It cost $ 120.00, never again.

It took close to two weeks for a phone call that came from customs or something, apparently you must pick the package up if it comes by USPS EXPRESS. Zenaida had to pay taxes as well to add to the insult of not being delivered to the door.

Good luck if you go USPS.
