Hello Friends,

I got approvals for both I-130 and I129F via US post today. On April 10, I had received email approval notifications.

Both the I-797, Notice of Action says "The above petition has been approved. We have sent the original visa petition to the Department of State National Visa Center (NVC), 32 Rochester Avenue, Portsmouth, NH 03801-2909." I wanted to mention this because some of you have indicated in VisaJourney forums that their I-130 approval was held at the processing center and only I-129F was was sent to NVC.

August / September 2007 K3 filers still waiting for approvals please read my earlier thread on how I got an Officer at CSC to remedy a system error. I believe you could be in a similar situation.

As recommended by 'pushbrk' and other members in their various posts, I plan to proceed with the I-130 route rather than K3.

With both petitions approved, the K3 case is on autopilot until you are contacted by the Consulate. I'd be boning up on James' shortcuts for the CR1 case if it actually shows up at NVC.

Yes, I've started preliminary pre-work on James Shortcuts.

As recommended by 'pushbrk' and other members in their various posts, I plan to proceed with the I-130 route rather than K3.

my petition was already with an adjudicator and they sent it back to the shelf to pair up with my I-129F, which was filed OCTOBER 2007

this guy filed his 129F in 2008 and is already approved

not ###### fair

what the hell is up with USCIS eh? are they brain damaged?

Congrats. I am still waiting and filed in July and August. While speaking to them on the phone all i kept wondering was how these people actually get hired. I was on the phone with someone with a 3rd grade eduaction it seemed. Frustrating and draining having to deal with them.

Met in Medellin Colombia October 06
