Just starting out here with the paperwork... Should the G-325A & the Letter of Intent be notarized for the USCIS submission?

Neither of them need to be notarized, just original documents with original signatures.

I got an RFE for sending photocopies of the G-325A.

May 15/07... 10-Yr. PR Card arrives in the mail

Sept. 13/07... N-400 sent to NSC

Aug. 21/08... Interview - PASSED!!!!

Sept. 2/08... Oath Ceremony

Sept. 5/08... Sent in Voter Registration Card

Sept. 9/08... SSA office to change status to "U.S. citizen"

Oct. 8/08... Applied in person for U.S. Passport

Oct. 22/08... U.S. Passport received

DONE!!! DONE!!! DONE!!! DONE!!!

Apr. 6/05... DS-230, Part I faxed to Vancouver Consulate

May 26/05... K-2 Interview - APPROVED!!!!

Sept. 5/05... Entered U.S.

Sept. 7/05... I-485 & I-131 sent to CLB

Feb. 22/06... AOS Interview - APPROVED!!!!! (Passport NOT stamped)

Dec. 4/07... I-751 sent to NSC

May 23/08... 10-Yr. PR Card arrives in the mail

Mar. 22/11.... N-400 sent to AZ

June 27/11..... Interview - PASSED!!!

July 12/11..... Oath Ceremony

Yep our G-325A and letters of intent were not notarized. Getting things notarized in a foreign country can present problems for many, one of the reasons why they do not need to be notarized.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

Nope, you just need copies of the W2 and 1040 for 2006 for Costa Rica, not notarized, or even originals.

'kid brooklyn' if you have any questions about CR Embassy, let me know, I picked up my packet 3/4 last week and my interview is on Friday. Happy to give you any tips :D

Feb 7, 2008 DHL package signed for by R MORA at San Jose Embassy

Mar 5, 2008 Picked up packet & scheduled interview for Mar 14th

Mar 7, 2008 Blood work & Xray medicals complete

Mar 10, 2008 Physical & vaccinations complete

Mar 14, 2008 Interview - receive 221(g) for missing Single certificate for Costa Rica

Mar 26, 2008 Pick up completed Single Cert from the Registro Civil & deliver to Embassy

Apr 2, 2008 Deliver Australian Single status cert to Embassy

Apr 8, 2008 Approved!! Visa in hand same day :)

Where ever there is out of date, some consulate websites still indicate getting I-864 notarized for CR-1/IR-1 visas, this requirement ended 3 years ago with the new I-864 forms, and they still have not updated their websites.

Again only thing needed to be notarized is the I-134.

Yes, some consulates make this statement, however it is the exception rather than the rule....

I think I waited more time for my Oath Ceremony schedule rather than interview process and after 13 minutes the lady gave my sched WOW CAN'T BELIEVE ......yayyyyyyy
