Congrats Samira...very happy for you! SO good to hear about your K3, hope the same thing happens for the rest of us. We now know for a fact that priority date means nothing as we should of had ours now too...not even a touch either...

Oh wow! Congratulations btw, I noticed that you've sent your I-130 and I-129F application at the same time. I didn't know that's allowed. Anyway, I am happy that K3 isn't dead

Finally we were approved, K-3, both petitions. Now on to the next step, I hope it goes through NVC in one week, lol! Good luck my fellow August filers approvals are coming our way!

my husband called USCIS yesterday and the lady said "we're on the next Bat!!" sokeep your spirits up coz we're almost done!!!!and the lady never mentioned about K3 being cancelled.. she said that if K3 was applied, then I130 will be set aside...and K3 will be processed first... hope thats true...

Thanks everyone! I am excited this step is finally over, so now I will be calling another number, lol. I am now excited to see how his interview goes.

BTW, I sent in both petitions at the same time because they were to be sent to the same service center during that time. Many inquires where done on here from various people, but I only know of myself who had did this. In the long run I can not say it made a difference. I am praying for my fellow august filers for approvals soon, they are coming!!!

I wouln't go as far as to say that priority date means nothing... I mean, they are a little late, but there was a backlog so it was expected...

and since you filed before samira, your file is probably on top of someone's desk and ready to be looked at... maybe her adjudicator is just faster than ours

it's good both of your I-130 and I-129 got approved at the same time,

in my case they have only approved I-130 back in the mid of feb, whereas my I-129 is still on pending for approval

I am so happy for all your touches, I know the approvals are coming soon. I received the hard copy in the mail for the I-129F. I scanned and attached here, according to this letter, it is in the process of being forward to NVC. I hope everyone has a great weekend.

As another point of reference, we got touches on both I130 & I129F today, March 7. This is the first touch since November 9, 2007, which was presumably when the I130 & I129F were paired together. I-130 originally submitted August 16, 2007 at CSC / I-129F submitted Sept 28. It's not an NOA2, but it would seem to suggest that our petition has been dusted off & is creeping forward towards adjudication. It certainly doesn't provide any guidance on whether I129Fs are still being processed (eg for a K3) or if they're being administratively closed (eg for a CR1). I think that is the biggest question on everybody's mind.

It does however, appear that the pairing of the I130 with the I129F may not have necessarily moved us back in line, as has been suggested. It would appear that petitioners who only submitted I130 to CSC at around the same time as we did are also being processed now.

I will advise any further developments.
