Hello Everyone.

My name is Bex and I am just about to start the K1 process. I just wanted to say Hi and thank all of you for the helpful things we have found on here already. I can't believe we've been so lucky and found this site it really is amazing. I'm about five months away from graduating a BSc Hons degree here in the UK and have been driving myself into the ground stressing out about how I'm going to balance all of my studies and submissions with an incredibly complex and time consuming application. Plus it feels like I should be planning the wedding but that seems rather difficult considering we have no idea when the final date could be?!?! Reading about other people’s experiences has really helped put things into a better perspective and the example forms and guides are absolutely invaluable. I have been frantically trying to find an immigration attorney to employ but I don't think I need one now! This site really inspires the confidence in us that we need to do it ourselves and hopefully I will be able to learn enough a long the process to eventually help others with theirs.

Thank you again for the advice we have found so far and I'm sure we will have plenty of questions of our own throughout the process so Thanks in advance too.

I think I waited more time for my Oath Ceremony schedule rather than interview process and after 13 minutes the lady gave my sched WOW CAN'T BELIEVE ......yayyyyyyy

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

You can still plan lots of wedding specifics even without a solid date - like whether you want a church wedding or a civil ceremony, the venue, music, colour scheme, etc.
