Hi

I have valid regular B1/B2 VISA with multiple entries which is going to expire on 03 November 2020. I have travelled to US for work back in 2011 once for couple months. Now I have valid H1B I20 petition effective October 2017 but stamping has not done yet. Can I travel to US on B1/B2 VISA for couple of months for tourism to Cleveland Ohio.

If you need more information please let me know.

Vacation in Cleveland

For 2 months?

Have you thought this through?

OK, cut to the chase, I want to go US on B1/B2 VISA (tourism) and then search job and get my H1B stamped. Is it feasible/correct way to do it or there is any other way.

Umm, pretty sure you need to work for the company that sponsored your H1B petition. You can't go find another company to work for.

Seems to be how it normally works.

That's technically not what a B visa is for. Visit, then return to your country. Apply for anything once back in your country. What country are you in?

Sounds like India. They do a lot of H1Bs.

I suspect so too

Seen similar posts on other forums about entering the US on B/L/H4 shortcuts to eventually COS to H1

First of all, having lived and worked in Cleveland, I can tell you nobody in their right mind would go there for a few months of tourism!  What you are trying to do is NOT things are done.   You will end up screwing yourself over.
