Civil Surgeon refuses to transfer vaccionations AFTER the exam

Or maybe he's just a typical, money-hungry doctor that looks to charge for everything he can think of, whether it's needed or not.

Yes, that's how it's supposed to work.  But these CS's have realized that they can pressure/bully immigrants into paying for unnecessary vaccines or blood tests.  The majority of them are thieves and scam artists.  When my wife was going through this 9 years ago, I had to call over 20 CS's before I found one who agreed to just transfer the vaccination without unnecessarily doing the full exam again and charging $300-500.

UPDATE:

 

I have good news, guys! Today, the doctor didn't mention anything about having a problem with transferring my vaccinations. I guess he had talked with someone who's more knowledgeable, or realized I wasn't the one he could fool. Lol

 

So, to the future immigrants who might stumble upon this post: do not agree to any additional blood work if you have your vaccination history records with you. Print out the instructions to form I-693 and take them with you to the doctor, - it clearly states there that a CS is supposed to review your vaccination records and work off of those.

06/27/2018 - Interview scheduled. But we couldn't make it that day, so we called USCIS and then sent a letter to local office to re-schedule; it was granted.
08/29/2018 - Interview re-scheduled. Approved on the spot!!! They did not ask why we didn't apply for AOS right after getting married. Review in Milwaukee USCIS office submitted
09/06/2018 - Green card in hand! It took 279 days to get it, but could've been sooner if not for the RFIE and re-scheduling of interview.

Biometrics were waived.
3/19/2021 - RFE
5/20/2021 - sent a reply for the RFE
6/29/2021 - case transferred to National Benefits Center
8/30/2022 - case status updated to "Ready to be scheduled for an interview".
12/07/2021 - divorce granted (we had been having issues and the marriage didn't survive). I switched my petition to Divorce Waiver and sent it off along with my reply to the RFE.
05/31/2023 - case was updated at some point to show that my biometrics were taken (they re-used the ones I provided at AOS) and on this date, status update to "Ready to be scheduled for an interview" again.
 
Citizenship:
2/5/2024 - filed N400 online under 5 year rule (with pending I-751).
2/9/2024 - Interview scheduled for the end of March! The fastest I ever got anything updated! Not sure if it's a combo interview or not.
