Fresh news from Interview- my visa was approved  it went very smooth, took 2 hours in the embassy. If anyone want I can describe step by step how it was. Im so happy and relieved  now time to go home!

Well the pace has picked up lately with the CSC so I would think from the time you actually file to having your K-1 visa in hand ( assuming CSC keeps at the current pace ) likely 4-6 month window. That also assumes you don't get hit with an RFE.

Hi Anna!!

 

Welcome to the Feb filers :)) I'm hoping that it'll take about 2 months or less to get our NOA2 from the time we get our NOA1. I have been stalking the Nov 2016 filers thread and I've seen some of them get their NOA2 late Jan with a send date of around 11/10.

 

Hopefully the service centers are getting over the holiday/before the fees changed/election hump and are getting faster with their processing time and we can have our SO's here within 6 months as @Brandon y Nadia stated.

Thought I would go ahead and jump into this thread.  I'm going to be pulling together the last bits of paperwork over the next few days (pictures and receipts from my last 2 trips to visit my fiance, credit card statements, etc.) and I am hoping to overnight out my complete application on Wednesday the 8th.  Looking forward to being apart of the Feb 2017 Filers waiting team!

02/27/17 - I-129F sent; 03/10/17 - NOA1 hard copy received; 06/15/17 - NOA2 hard copy received; 07/16/17 - NVC processing completed; 08/24/17 - Interview (Approved); 09/04/17 - Visa in Hand; 10/26/17 - POE; 12/20/17 - Marriage

As we speak I am two hole punching my I-129F packet :) I am so ready for this step to be over. I wonder if a moderator can change the thread name so more people won't skip over it as they think it's old... like I almost did.

Hi February filers,

 

I am all with you in our patiently waiting period.

 

My fiance did send our I-129F package on Jan 31 st to Dallas Lockbox and they received it today as USPS tracking shows.

 

Good luck to all of you and love to stay in contact and hear about all your updates.
