His name will be on the marriage certificate.

We never married... She was my fiance at the time so she married someone else but I was the petitioner

As a K-1, she can only adjust through a marriage to you.

She has no way to adjust through her husband. She will need to leave the U.S. and apply for a spousal visa.

None of this has anything to do with you. Let it go. Move on with your life. What she does will have no bearings on you. Be glad you did not marry her. Cut your losses.

Her visa expired November 25, so that's why she's rushing to leave next week, her ban would be coming April 25... Just married this guy last week, her frown is visiting her from Mexico and said that my ex doesn't even know the guys last name, she met him in a casino and spent 4 days with him haha

Well you should think good riddance, and inform USCIS

you are no longer going ahead with application & close

it out so in the future it does not affect you trying to

petition someone else, and it shows active (this have

happened B4).

If you want to clear your name regarding her false report do

so for your own benefit & forget about this woman, she loves

no one but herself it seems

This. I'm not sure how you want this to end, but her leaving your life with minimal consequence to yourself is about as good as you're going to get.

Absolutely, there are some real horror stories on here.

Thank your lucky stars that this turned out this story turned out the way it did.

Like said before, have her/your case closed and move on.

Maybe the new husband will end here too..."I married this chick, ..."

Huh.

Well I agree with everyone else.

I remember bits of your story from the end of last year when you posted it. When you were either advised of or came seeking advice of (cant remember specifically sorry) her potentially making a VAWA claim and remaining in the US that way.

So I am incredibly relieved to see it did NOT go the VAWA route!! Its a small victory. Whether that means she was discouraged from it because she couldnt obtain the necessary proof (drs and caseworkers not being paperpushers) or simply became educated about the process (VAWA adjudicators are highly trained and become better and better each day at reducing the fraud) Its one less false VAWA applicant in the system.

As for her quickie marriage to another to gain benefits. Well good luck to him.

Your journey with her is over. If you feel the need to be a continual gossipmonger and follow her life and subsequent immigration journey then continue to. But at this point what she does no longer impacts you and in all honesty I would do my hardest to avoid her and anyone that knows her. Shes bad news.

They never married so VAWA was out.

U may have been an option. Seen a lot of those recently.

What I have not seen is a change in VAWA failure rates. Not sure I have seen one fail.

An Illegal Alien showing up for a court date, Probably never happen. Waste of time.

A friend of mine his son got a girl pregnant, they sent court order to son regarding child support. Both him and son are illegal in USA from Mexico. They just ignored the court order and went on their merry way, This was a few years ago and nothing ever came from this....

US Laws are mostly for US Citizens or people her legally........

This is not always true. My ex husband is an illegal from Mexico. He was brought into court for child support. Anytime he hasn't paid he gets letters that his drivers license is at risk plus the normal jail time and what not. They garnish his work checks for child support KNOWING he is illegal and working with fake documents. He has been reported to ICE/USCIS also and they do nothing knowing he works, they garnish his checks all in the name of whoever fake information he uses.

The good news is that by her marrying some other guy, you are completely off the hook. Congrats. The people that don't live in las vegas won't understand your story but i do.

  • 3 weeks later...

She did you a big favor by exposing her true nature before you married her. She's the other guy's problem now.
