  • Our Story
JR and I met online in November 2003. In January 2004 I flew to the States to visit him for 4 weeks. Ever since we visited forth and back in Germany and the United States. On October 8, 2005, he asked me to marry him!! :-)) It took a while, but in January 2006 I got a beautiful ring and a couple weeks later, in February, we filed the I-129F.
I got my visa and after a very nice wedding ceremony in Germany I went with him to the US, did all the legal stuff and been happily married ever since.
In October 2008 we welcomed our son Quentis.

  1. Hi all. I am drawing a blank here. N-400, part 1, question 1. which option do I need to pick? I feel A and B are applying to me. I have been married to my USC husband since 2006, LPR since 2008. Still married and living together and my husband is a natural born citizen. Also, he is in the military, is there anything I need to do differently or is it the exact same process than for civilian applicants? thank you!
  2. Thanks! Do I have to get that stamp or only if I need it for travel? I just want to make sure that I can’t get in trouble at all for not having valid proof of my status!?
  3. My 10 year greencard expired on June 20, 2020. I applied for a new card in April but except for receiving a letter that my application was received, I haven’t heard back for a biometrics appointment. Do I need to do anything? Should I do anything? What if I needed to travel? I am living in Hawai’i now.
