Hi everyone! Haven't been on here for a while. I moved to the US with the CR-1 visa on November 22nd 2015. I got my SSN card after about 2 weeks but I still haven't received the green card or welcome letter... It's been almost 5 months. Should I worry? Is it possible they forgot that I am here? Haha

Did you pay the immigrant fee? Failure to pay will hold up your green card. If you have, get on the phone to USCIS and try to find out why your card hasn't arrived.

I paid all the fees possible online, and at my POE they said I was good to go and all I had to remember was to remove conditions in two years. So I don't think I've missed anything. Do I need any information from the case when I call?

Apparently USCIS has a printing issue with green cards. My aunt hasn't received her green card yet either and she arrived in January. This site says that if you haven't received it in 120 days then you can submit an inquiry: https://www.uscis.gov/file-online/uscis-immigrant-fee

So when did you pay the $165 Green Card production fee? If you paid have you been tracking it on the ELIS system?

How to pay the Green Card Production fee of $165 on the Elis system.

NO NEED FOR ACCESS CODE, that is for other procedures like getting a copy of a green card, etc.

1. Create the ELIS account here: https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/

2. Go here to pay fee: https://www.uscis.go...g-online-filing

3. Click to pay the USCIS immigrant fee icon.

4.Click "continue" at the bottom.

5.Enter the Alien Number and the NVC or DOS case. Use the same email you used on the ELIS account.

This is critical to enable your created ELIS account to receive your payment information.

6. You will get an email confirming your payment.

7. When you log again on the ELIS account, you will see your case number. (It is added automatically).

8. Login into your ELIS account to track or check the status of your Green Card.

Note: Green Card process starts when immigrant enters USA and is processed at POE.

I wasn't aware of this process, I have now created and Elis account, and paid the fee back in March. Do you have any clue how to add my case now and track the green card? Thanks for any help you can offer.

So i gave them a call, but they couldn't help me without a receipt number (that I didn't have on my payment confirmation paper), even though I had all kinds of codes and stuff. So the guy told me to submit the help contact form online to try and get my receipt number. So I did that and was called up later in the evening by a lady from the USCIS. She said that I was still within normal processing time, actually 36 days short (but I've read 120 days...) and they had the right address and information and the card has simply not been printed yet. She gave me a receipt number so I can track the card once it has been produced.

It was very calming to know I wasn't forgotten or lost, it's just a matter of more waiting (:

Thanks everyone!
