Hello November filers! So our 485 status just changed to "New Card Is Being Produced"  Our local office is Washington DC but we had no interview We are adjusting from K1 visa.

My brother is a USC and just filed AOS for my parents thus Im adding myself to this thread to know how November fileds progress. Package was received today at Chicago lockbox

Anyone else noticing people are consistently waiting about 2 weeks for the NOA1?? Anyone in here waiting longer than that?

I wonder if they'll decide my expedite request (included in the package, first page) at the lockbox facility or if I'll have to call them and place a service request for someone to look into it, but can't do that without the receipt number anyway.

Yeah you might have to place a service request... I'm requesting an expedite as well but can't do jack $&@# without the receipt number. It's crazy that it takes two weeks just for NOA1!

At least I believe, since we included the request letter and support documentation with it, they'll be able to get it from the file and we won't need to wait for a letter asking to fax it, right?? Those few days may be the difference between making it or losing it to me...

Honestly I'm not positive. I am not aware of the whole process for an expedite, hopefully they clear it up for you on their own. My congressman is requesting it for me because I feel it's more secure with their help. I just need NOA1 but it's taking longer than you'd think.

Thanks. I'm figuring a full 2 weeks before NOA1 then.

Just a question...did you send an additional I-94 copy with the I-131 AP application? I only sent one for the I-485. Now I'm second guessing that.

As far as I have understood, the only thing you need to include more of are the photos (when filing combined).

No, I only sent the one copy of the I-94 for the I-485, same as you. Hope that is good!
