March 17, 2009 : Biometrics Letter recieved (Dated 13th March). Interview on 1st week of April
April 2, 2009 : Biometrics done. Total time taken with wait 20 mins.
April 22, 2009 : Called USCIS. They have received fingerprints and work permit is in process.
May 7, 2009 : I-765 case online. Card Production ordered.
May 11,2009 : EAD card received.
May 12,2009 : Applied for SSN.
May 18,2009 : Received SS card.
June 08,2009 : Received Letter for Interview ( scheduled on July 14 th July )
July 14th : Great Interview. All done in 20 mins.

Placed in line on your 5th green card anniversary. I wonder if that's just a coincidence or if it's intentional. A lot of people are placed in line 1 month before the anniversary. Who knows how USCIS works! :-)

They said they'd mail you the name change certificate?

That's quite unusual! It must be something your local office does. I hope you get it soon and congratulations again!

If you go down to member mrs.sr, , she says "

Received the name change certificate today, 15 days after the oath ceremony.

FYI, Since the oath ceremony was not at the court house( but performed by a judge), USCIS sends the name change petition to the court house. The court house then records the name change, signs it and sends it back to USCIS. USCIS then mails the copy to us. Hence the delay.

You can always request a certified copy from the court house. It's is $11 here in Milwaukee, Wisconsin"

Thanks for the response! That's sounds like a reasonable way to do things.

Here in Houston it's a little different, the oath ceremony is also performered by a judge and also not at a court house, but the clerk brings all the name change certificates to the ceremony and attaches them to the naturalization certificates. So I guess it varries from court to court.

Day 000- 07/24/2012 - I-130 & I-485 concurrently filed (including I-765) and mailed to Chicago Lockbox.

Day 003 - 07/27/2012 - AOS Package received by Immigration.

Day 006- 07/30/2012 - 3 Texts and 3 email confirmations from USCIS for receipt of I-130/ I-485/I-485/I-765

Day 008- 08/01/2012 -3 NOAs for above received in mail.

Day 010- 08/03/2012 - Recieved ASC Appointment Notice for Biometrics on 08/22/2012 @ 10:00 am.

Day 029- 08/22/2012 - Biometrics at ASC Atlanta, Ga

Day 058 - USCIS CLAIMS to have sent out an Interview letter on this date. Never received the letter

Day 059- 09/21/2012 - Call to USCIS requesting service from L2 officer. Promised response in 5 days.

Day 065- 09/27/2012 - Text confirmation of EAD Card Production.

Day 071- 10/03/2012 - Text and email confirmation of EAD Card mailed to address on file.

Day 071-10/03/2012 - Text and email confirmation of USPS picking up mail.

Day 077- 10/09/2012 - Called USCIS to see if interview letter had ever been sent out (on advisement from helpful VJ member). L2 Officer comfirms that an interview letter was sent out on 09/20/2012. Advised to call USCIS 5 days before interview date to get a faxed copy of letter...???

Day 092- 10/24/2012 - Interview...APPROVED. Thank YOU, LORD!

Day 099- 10/31/2012 - GREEN CARD RECEIVED. What a wonderful feeling!

My wife's case status was just updated today. Her interview has been scheduled. We need to wait for the letter to see what the date is. Probably about one week after She_him.

They said they'd mail you the name change certificate?

That's quite unusual! It must be something your local office does. I hope you get it soon and congratulations again!

Thanks for the response! That's sounds like a reasonable way to do things.

Here in Houston it's a little different, the oath ceremony is also performered by a judge and also not at a court house, but the clerk brings all the name change certificates to the ceremony and attaches them to the naturalization certificates. So I guess it varries from court to court.

Hello JimmyHou , my name change letter just came ...in 5 days after Oath. Came from Office of Clerk - United States District Court. They made me sign this paper during the naturalization interview. So basically its a Homeland Security paper, was signed by me during interview and then signed and stamped by my city court clerk and sent to me. Just an update as i promised. Thanks

Package Delieverd at USCIS: March 05, 2009
March 13, 2009 : Checks Cashed
March 13, 2009 : NOA 1 received on I-485, I-130, I-765. Dated March 11th, 09
March 17, 2009 : Biometrics Letter recieved (Dated 13th March). Interview on 1st week of April
April 2, 2009 : Biometrics done. Total time taken with wait 20 mins.
April 22, 2009 : Called USCIS. They have received fingerprints and work permit is in process.
May 7, 2009 : I-765 case online. Card Production ordered.
May 11,2009 : EAD card received.
May 12,2009 : Applied for SSN.
May 18,2009 : Received SS card.
June 08,2009 : Received Letter for Interview ( scheduled on July 14 th July )
July 14th : Great Interview. All done in 20 mins.
July 18th: Online status - Card Production ordered. Thank God !! I-130 online status : Pending
July 23rd : Welcome to USA & I-130 approval letter recieved. Online status still shows pending.
July 31st : Received conditional green card
Removing Condition
3/25/11 - Received reminder from USCIS to file for ROC
5/6/11 - Sent I-751 Packet to CSC via usps
5/9/11- Package delivered to csc.
5/11/11- Check cashed electronically by CSC
5/16/11- NOA 1 received
5/27/11 - Biometrics letter received.Scheduled on 06/06/11. Case Online
6/6/11 - Biometrics done
9/6/11 - Approved.Card Production Ordered
9/12/11- Card Received

Citizenship

10/13/15 : Sent N400

10/16/15 : NOA

11/13/15 : Fingerprints

11/17/15 : In Line for Interview

01/11/16 : Interview- Passed & Given Oath letter & Date by hand

01/14/16 : Oath Ceremony done & Naturalization Certificate in hand.Proud citizen of USA
