hello everyone, what's the latest I can expect to be at the US Consulate in Montreal on my interview day? My interview is at 9:30am. Is it unreasonable (or just plain risky) to book a flight to return to Vancouver departing at 6:15pm that same day? I would probably have to be at the airport by 4:30pm and it takes some time to get from downtown Montreal to the airport I'm guessing.

Just a little "fine tuning" after "AT NVC"... "IN TRANSIT" means that NVC has entered your packet into the DHL system. Your status will stay "IN TRANSIT" while your packet is still physically at NVC

Thanks again everyone. I am in the USA and enjoying it... I cant explain how great i feel being with my family, it is just magnificent... Dwheels alot of blessings coming your way and the others who have stick around to help ppl like me.

You are so welcome. Sometimes you never know even when schwduled later than you hope you can request a earlier date and sometimes they can accommodate. You never know unless you ask. So lets just see how it goes.

Does anyone know how long your case stays in ready after you get approved? My husbands case is still in Ready.

Normally Ready to AP to Issued takes about 1 to 2 weeks for your embassy. But given the issues they are having hard too say when it will change since they aren't issuing any right now.

You've doe all your DHL registering right?
