Hello, still tired from all the emotions from yesterday, but I have a weird felling going on, maybe do to my pessimist side.

My interview was yesterday, and I had ups and downs. being the downs the actual interview with the CO.

Maybe because I was the first in line for the IV visa, she stayed with me some good 10-15 min. She bombarded me with questions that she wouldn't allow me to finish, to ask another question. for the first time someone actually made me feel bad about mine and my husbands age gap. I am about 7 years older than my husband, a common age gap if the man is older than the woman. But apparently it was some kind of problem, she actually stopped looked at me and was like so he was 21 when you met RIGHT! I felt like a pedophile or something

And in the wend she was even asking where the ring was bought and why we decided to marry in the USA: i was actually telling her we were to get married in Portugal, but when we asked the american embassy in Lisbon told us it would be easier to get married in Gibraltar, we opt for the US.(I think she didn't like that, but was the truth) And then she was like, you haven't seen your husband for a year, i said yeah but I was suppose to go there for Christmas, but the Embassy in Paris (your place of work) told me I could be considered a liability due to the IV process and not let go in, because My husband was working and could not let his job to come visit.(another point I believe she did not like, at least by her face). (in the end I wanted to scream at her, YES I HAVEN?T SEEN MY HUSBAND FOR A YEAR I WONDER WHO?S FAULT IS THAT!!!!!)

Then out of the bloom while I was speaking, she was looking at the some of our pictures, she said, OK.

You are approved, congratulations, blah blah blah...(I did not hear anything past the approved)

In my mind I had the feeling things were going so bad, that The Approved sound like something Bad.

Just went to CEAC and I am in administrative processing, that is good right? I am not going to be screwed right?

Please help me!!!

Heyyyy you know what? You are approved! Time to forget about all this and to keep checking the ceac status, it will change to issued soon enough. The CO wouldn't have told you you were approved if there was a problem. Try to relax and to forget about the bad experience, who cares about what the CO thinks about your couple! Think about the good times you will soon spend with your husband! Let us know when it changes to "issued"! :-)

I see that a few of you are bringing your DS260 confirmation page with you at the interview but when I log on to the ceac.state.gov webiste, my DS260 does not show up on there anymore... This is all I see :

The DS260 has disappeared since my case has been complete...

Should I call NVC and ask them about it?

It's right there in front of you. IV Application is the DS-260. Click on it to access the entire filled form.

How you guys rescheduling interview dates?

Once you get interview and your casefile is at embassy you contact the embassy and request an earlier date if they have you might get it.

Well first congratulations. You poor thing but don;t blame the CO its their job to see if people are real and don't get rattled no matter what. Good for you.

Yes AP is normal after interview because you are truly going through administrative processing getting that Visa made. So again Congratulations.

Hey!! So they are done with their Medical today.. At the hospital they need interview letter, DS-260 confirmation page, and passport photos. They took the x-ray and blood work and got all the immunizations done. They were asked medical questions. Pretty simple but my M-I-L said they are bunch of idiots over there lol took them 5-6 hours just to get all this done. They will be need to go pick up the report sometime next week. Did your wife schedule her medical or biometrics?

Thanks dwheels for your help in this forum,it was such an experience at the embassy today, those your sample questions were awesome, I was bombarded with a lot of questions.mine was 10 minutes interview, the lady really wanted to make my life miserable but little did she know that I belong to a family called visajourney forum, I was so prepared that she ran out of questions to ask me. She had denied everyone before me, but when it got to my turn, she met her match.thanks saylin and dwheels, you both are awesome.
