Hey guys - I registered at ustraveldocs.com and on there it says my wife currently have no scheduled appointments, even though we have an appointment on 8/19. Does anyone have any insight into this?

Appointments on ustraveldocs means biometrics appointments, at least for India

Dear Forum Members,

Thank you for all the help and support you provide on this site. My visa was approved yesterday and it was this forum that kept me sane during the last 11 months.

My USC husband teased me about VJ all the time as I usually started our visa conversations with "the forum members said........". You guys have been a big part of my journey to visa success and I wish you all good luck for the future.

Actually, my wife's interview is Friday (tomorrow) morning. She flew up to Moscow today, which had me nervous after the tragedy in Ukraine, and then she lost her wallet... I hope tomorrow goes well, and will post a review after she gives me a download.

Wow, just WOW, at all the congratulations to throw out there. From new CC's, to interview dates received or moved up, to successful interviews to POE planning... such incredible news to be found in this thread each day as compared to the previous ones we had to go through lol.... you know the ones... the 'stressful' ones!! I-130 and NVC stages :P

I was multi-quoting so many posts that I'm just going to skip that part and say again, CONGRATS at all the good news!

My husband arrives here Sunday and we head for the US in 5 days!!! And I guess the approval wasn't the only thing I picked up on my trip to Montreal a week ago... I caught a wicked cold too! bleh :dead:^_^

[...]

Oh right when you go in there is something called loomis that we were already supposed to have registered for but I don't remember any guide here talking about it or mentioning it.

It's the service they use to track your greencard or something like that. You definitely have to have it or they give you the form right when you walk in and you gotta go outside and call and register the whole process takes like 5 minutes and you talk to a live person but in that 5 minutes like 4 people went ahead of us.

[...[

It was outlined in the Montreal guide and several threads in the Canadian forums. ^_^

I'm also confused, (as not only did you say the petitioner was the one examined), but if the tests are at the end of July, does that impact your interview date in August?

Regardless of the details, I hope everything will be alright :luv:

Visa approved today.......

This was the easiest part of the journey! The CO didnt even ask for any of the supporting documents I went with and I was approved.

Questions:

*How long have your wife been in the USA

*How did she migrate

*How long have you known her

*How many times has she visited since she has been in the US

#I also responded to d question that ive vited twice as well.

She immediately said they will be needing my police report because NVC didnt send any to Lagos Embassy but I told her I already sent it to NVC and I have the photocopy with me but she later saw it on her desk and said ive been approved without seeing any of the documents with me.

congratulations
