the IV instructions online don't mention anything about this, but did you guys write anything on the back of the passport photos?

Yeah I did. I wrote the name, date of birth and the NVC case number at the back. Not even that, for IV Documents I out a sticker with name, date of birth and the nvc case number on the first page of original (and copy) of each document if not every single page.

USCIS Step:
04/19/2013: NOA1 for both parents
04/17/2013: PD
11/26/2013: Transferred to California Service Center

01/14/2014: Reply to RFE Received by CSC

01/28/2014: Email Update/Txt Received for Approval

02/01/2014: Approval Notice received in Mail

****** Both I-130s approved in about 9.5 months ******

NVC Step:

02/07/2014: Case Received by NVC

03/17/2014: Received Case/Invoice Number

03/18/2014: Submitted DS261

03/19/2014: Paid AOS online (one payment for both cases)

03/22/2014: Sent AOS Packages to NVC (separately for each parent)

03/24/2014: AOS Packages delivered to NVC (as per the USPS Tracking)

03/27/2014: IV Fees Available and Paid Online

04/05/2014: IV Documents sent to NVC

04/06/2014: DS260 submitted online

04/07/2014: IV Documents delivered to NVC

05/01/2014: AOS Approved

05/29/2014: Case Complete !!!

06/11/2014: Interview Letter Received via email

The IV instructions may not, but Saylin's wiki does :idea:

2013: July 20: I-130 sent (Chicago lockbox)

July 24: I-130 NOA1

July 24: I-129F sent (Dallas Lockbox)

Aug 2: I-129F NOA1

Aug 12: Alien Registration Number was changed, I-129F.

2014: Jan 28/29/30: - 3 transfer notices for I-130 and I-129F.

Feb 3 - Hard copy arrived -Notice of transfer to Texas stating Jan 29th.

Feb 10 - NOA2

Feb 27 - email stating I-130 being sent to NVC from TSC.

March 6 -NVC received our case.

April 7 - CASE NUMBER yay! IIN and BIN obtained and email given.

April 9 - DS261 available and filled in online.

April 9 - AOS not yet payable but visible.

April 10 - email regarding NVC case number and access to DS261 received/ email regarding AOS received and paid.

April 11 - AOS sent by snail mail.

April 14 - AOS arrived per mail tracking.

April 15 - IV bill received via email, IV bill paid/ in process, IV package sent.

April 18 - IV bill showing paid/ DS-260 available and done!

- AOS scanned into their system.

April 21 - IV package arrived per mail tracking.

April 24 - IV scanned into their system.

May 2 - False checklist for IV documents= AOS approval.

May 13 - NVC rep reported ? missing Police certificate via my phone call.

- Supervisor review initiated.

May 14 - Checklist for Police certificate came via email.

- Sent checklisted documentation priority post!

May 15 - Package delivered per mail tracking.

May 19 - Case COMPLETE!! Police certificate found by NVC:)

May 28 - Case complete email arrived.

May 30 - Assigned Interview date!

I got my photos done professionally and they put a huge stamp on the back of my photos. There is no room to write anything else. Do you think that will be a problem?

Instead of sending 2, i sent 4 photographs. On the back of 2 i wrote name, date of birth and case number and nothing on the other two. :) :)

I don't mind if NVC guys just want to trash any 2 of them. ;)

Yes, buy white stickers at Staples or officeDepot and put the information on that on the back you don't need their stamp to mess you up. :)

So happy you made it, did you call? You need to call on Monday, 11 pm if you East Coast and about 8 pm if your West Coast that way you wont

get any rude nasty pants people hahahaaaa. Your case number just might be waiting for me. Good luck. :D(F)

She is a beauty look like a Russian Blue. :)(F)

I'm not sure. I found her as a stray. She kept showing up everyday for a month looking all skinny and pathetic so I started feeding her. Then she tried to come in my house so I decided to buy kitty stuff and keep her. Then when I took her to the vet she was already spayed so someone own her at some point. Oh well! Finders keepers! She's been with me for over 5 years now. She is very well behaved but can be a bit feisty at times, so basically she's just like me. We were perfect for each other! :luv:(L)
