His appointment was 0630AM. He arrived and went through processing at the gate. Was number 5. Got in, his document were checked and he was asked to wait for his number to be called by c/o for interview. Whe he was called, it was a white lady. She smiled and asked his name and mine. She then asked him to tell her how we met, he did. Then she asked to see pictures which Hubby showed her as well and she asked if either of us had been married before which he answered no. Then she said she was satisfied and would approve his visa. Gave him the paper to pick up his visa and congratulated him. 2022-11-02

We were notified on August 10th that the interview had been scheduled on September 10th, so we had to quickly make travel plans and get his medical exam scheduled (which was conducted on August 30th). The interview process only took about 20 minutes total. We got there about 45 minutes early and waited outside. Once my husband was called, the interview only took about 20 minutes total. He was asked a few questions, including how we met, whether he had ever been to the US, what his plans were when we move to the US, and whether we have any children. The officer then asked for a few documents (but he said he didn't want many) for proof of relationship, so my husband handed over a few photos and other documents. The official told him congratulations, his green card was approved, and let him know that we could expect to pick up the green card within a week. We are currently still waiting to pick up the green card and 12 days have passed. 2021-10-22
