The consulate was very busy which made the whole process take 3 hours in total. The questions during the interview were simple (what is your daughter's first name?, Do you have a copy of her and her husbands paystubs?, Did you go to the doctors?). My mom got approved promptly but since she went for the medical exams on 2/29 (less then 7 days prior to the interview) the CO didn't have her exams results yet. They still capt her passport and informed that she can no longer use her tourist visa and that the "real approval" will depend on the medical results. So, we took them in person about 4 days after the interview. The review from the embassy took almost 3 weeks (no actual in person second interview). The following day we got the notification that the documents were being shipped to the DHL location we picked using the Embassy's website for registering appointments. Passport ready to be picked up at DHL 1 business day after being notified of VISA being printed. NO "yellow" envelope (just printed VISA on Passport), I guess due to COVID or just better use of available technology. US Entry was a breeze. It took less than 30 minutes from getting off the airplane to being in the baggage claim with the bags... the Immigration Agent only asked to corroborate the address and said WELCOME and that the green card would arrive at a later date. | 2021-05-23 | |||

The consul only ask 6 basic questions and approved the case without asking any documents, I submitted everything online to the NVC and brought the original to the interview but the consul didn't ask for them.
