  1. I think you've probably exhausted the advice you are going to receive from the forum. Folks have laid out some pretty clear next steps for you to consider. There's no way "around" this situation - either challenge the decision with an I-290B (which may or may not be accepted) or file a new I-751.
  2. No. You need to file the I-290B immediately. Your congressman can support you, but @Family seems to have more detailed information on this specific situation than the rest of us.
  3. And time. The clock on your I-751 will reset if you have to resubmit.
  4. Here's the link for Jersey - go to the rep's website, and often they'll have either a general "contact us" email or an email specifically for immigration.
  5. Looks like two approvals on VJ timelines in mid-January filed in June and October of 2021...
  6. I would also pull the get your member of congress and senator office involved card too.
  7. Our lawyer for the original I-130/I-485 suggested the same framing as Mike for the original GC application - "wedding celebration". When I sent photos in for ROC I captioned them "COVID delayed Wedding celebration"
  8. Looking at recent timelines it has been around 4-8 months for folks with pending I-751s.
  9. Unfortunately the Tier 1 officer you spoke to was probably just plugging in your application date and telling you the "in processing time" window. i.e. it was not specific to you or your actual case. You can see that info yourself if you plug in your service center here and once it gives you the estimate, scroll down to here: here:
  10. Looking back through timelines for Potomac it looks like nobody has updated a timeline w/ biometrics since October (that was an August filer). This rings true with someone in a group I'm with who filed in September and hasn't heard anything on biometrics yet...
  11. I shipped mine using UPS and just bought their smallest document size shipping box when I brought my package in. Yes - the only signatures are the beneficiary (GC holder) on page 7, and their USC spouse on page 8.
  12. But I hope we might get lucky and see early movement like some of these other “approved in 5 months” cases.
  13. Part of me worries that if it does speed up it'll be primarily for newer filers versus the poor folks who've already been waiting a long time
  14. Alright, NOA letter in hand dated as received January 9, NOA dated as January 10. So them receiving it to me getting the extension letter was exactly 8 days after they received my package (also including a holiday for MLK day).
  15. Did you both sign the I-751? Did you enclose the correct payment amount? Did you include a copy of your greencard front and back? If so, try not to worry at this point.
