  1. i saw you on Hacking this morning and well I do agree with him about a Muslim family sending a 18 year old daughter to the US on a K1 is shall we say suspect. However waiver wise he was very wrong. Nothing to suggest a waiver could not be approved, the vast majority of well prepared waivers are approved. Years ago there was a web site I2US? anyway lots and lots of waivers and it was unbelievably rare for a waiver not to be approved. Obviously there are some no go scenarios but nothing you have suggested falls into that category. Now I have not seen your waiver and a comment you said about what your Lawyer prepared did sort of worry me. Certainly no issue starting off by arguing the need, but a waiver is a lot more than a simple statement by you.
  2. I prefer Progs as I seem the only one who has actually voted Liberal.
  3. I would want to check the exact regulations but I have never come across aunt being ill etc as a reason in anything.
  4. I do not know the details but there was a clear out. I personally prefer a wide variety of views. Somehow I survived. How I have no idea.
  5. Never asked me.
  6. Yes that makes sense, 3 and 4 do not need CSPA.
  7. I would have thought child 2 would qualify. Maybe 1.
  8. No connections with the US Good job, family, basically go through the DS 160 and think what would be the strongest answer to each question.
  9. Same with UFO's Plus most seem to only like certain areas of the US.
  10. I forget if Dylan has her own thread? Anyway another big win, not such a big win for Virgin Atlantic who sponsored this.
  11. Wrong time of year, normally they close in November for the month and then over the winter it is a short trip plus of course the Santa Express. 4 full trains in the Summer vs one short train in the winter. And of course where this is will not be accessible until May. Exactly when they reopen depends on the type of Winter.
  12. A lot of the usual subjects have gone to ground, wonder what PETA are going to say?
  13. I have watched the video a few times and am pretty sure it is not me.
  14. Antisemitic incidents 'quadruple in UK' since Hamas attack in Israel https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-67085625?xtor=ES-208-[65059_NEWS_NLB_GET_WK41_THU_12_OCT]-20231012-[bbcnews_antisemiticincidents_newsuk]
  15. I do not agree with the comments about Germany and WW2. OK it is a passing reference and not really pertinent to the subject. It was a different time and he seems to be looking back with rose tinted glasses. I could happily argue the opposite. I do agree with a lot of the other stuff, his description of the IDF reminds me of the US Armed Forces, now the US has the advantage of the Atlantic and Pacific. The IDF has a distinct lack of defensible space. I always assumed that Israel was on borrowed times, the Jewish population is I think just over 3 times that of Gaza, look at the surrounding States and probably outnumbered 30 to 1 and with Countries that have no issues taking casualties. Short version Israel has to win every time, or to put it another way if the surrounding States disarmed nothing much would happen, if Israel did they would be nobody left by the end of the month. Of course they have Nukes so I presume every surrounding Nation would be impacted. Reminds of a board game called Nuclear War, if you were eliminated you had the opportunity of combing all your cards and attacking the remaining players, quite common for nobody to win.
