  1. I forget where I saw it now, a graph with the EV only manufacturers showing cumulative losses from a common start date, they all showed a sort of similar nose dive but Tesla having been in the game the second longest had a big correction, now this was when they could charge premium prices and had most of the market, the likes of Rivian are playing in different times. I mentioned the Prius where you can get reconditioned batteries for not a lot but those batteries are relatively tiny. It is of course possible that replacement batteries will be much cheaper and much better in 15 years, but nobody knows.
  2. To be more precise what did his wife file? It was her conditional status. It seems, makes sense with a K1. I 90 would be incorrect to remove conditions.
  3. Filing Fee $575. There is no biometric services fee. Anyone may pay this fee from anywhere in the world, as long as they enter the correct first and last names, date of birth, and A-Number because this information will appear on your boarding foil. You can find this information on your Green Card, reentry permit or advance parole document. Whoever pays the fee must pay through our online payment system using a credit or debit card or U.S. bank account. When you send a payment, you agree to pay for a government service. Filing and biometric service fees are final and non-refundable, regardless of any action we take on your application, petition, or request, or if you withdraw your request. Pay each filing fee separately. We are transitioning to electronically processing immigration benefit requests, which requires us to use multiple systems to process your package. Because of this, you must pay each filing fee separately for any form you submit. We may reject your entire package if you submit a single, combined payment for multiple forms. If you receive an error message when paying the fee, you should contact a Consular Section at a U.S. Embassy or Consulate with the error message for assistance. You cannot use a fee waiver for this form.
  4. I am sure they need a printer so I am not buying that and I am also sure they could get a replacement that day, maybe a couple of they want a specific one. I might take my printer in if they kept that up....
  5. Rivian has announced 3 new models, now I know 2 people who have them one of them is the Pup's Vet. And obviously where I am it gets cold. I think this is make or break, they have been losing a lot of cash, the term I was thinking of is not VJ friendly. Now Tesla lost a lot but then U turned, are they the exception or will others be able to follow. I think they are losing 30k on every vehicle? My concern is not that they are not any good but if the Company will be around.
  6. I did not watch all of it, I did see that bit and had to switch channels, so sad.
  7. I would be in there everyday and making a big fuss.
  8. Only assets that can be converted into cash within one year and without considerable hardship or financial loss to the owner may be included.
  9. Dropbox? A huge file I find that very unlikely. How many GB?
  10. Is this the house you live in or an investment property?
  11. Probably never finished High School which is the very basic level, could have got a GED in Prison. Many basic jobs require a High School Diploma. The job I have required a drugs test, when I looked into it further as this was the first time I had every had to do one it seems many around where I am would fail.

  15. Joe Biden promised to ‘absorb’ 2 million asylum seekers ‘in a heartbeat’ in 2019 - he now faces an immigration crisis https://www.cnn.com/2024/03/07/politics/kfile-biden-2-million-migrants-asylum-seekers-immigration-crisis/index.html CNN — During his 2020 presidential campaign, Joe Biden promised a stark departure from the immigration policies of the Trump administration. He pledged a 100-day moratorium on deportations after taking office. He promised to protect sanctuary cities from federal law enforcement agencies. And he harshly criticized the Trump administration’s treatment of undocumented immigrants at the southern border, asserting that America had the capacity to “absorb people” while calling on asylum seekers to “surge” to the border “We could afford to take in a heartbeat another two million,” Biden said at one event in August 2019. “The idea that a country of 330 million people cannot absorb people who are in desperate need and who are justifiably fleeing oppression is absolutely bizarre.” An estimated 3 million migrants who have been encountered at the southern border since Biden took office in January 2021 remain in the US, according to figures flagged by the Biden administration. At a Democratic debate in September 2019, Biden said as president he would do “several more things.” “I would in fact make sure that there is – we immediately surge to the border all those people are seeking asylum. They deserve to be heard. That’s who we are,” Biden said. “We’re a nation that says, ‘If you wanna flee and you’re fleeing oppression, you should come,’” he added. During his 2020 presidential campaign against Donald Trump, Biden was in a much different position as illegal border crossings were significantly lower than they are today.

  17. Anyway back to the Disaster that is Denver. This was on the TV last night, headline is a bot misleading. https://www.denver7.com/news/crime/man-attacks-electric-dream-boutique-on-south-broadway-shattering-glass-door-while-threatening-employee-inside Short version Downtown is pretty bad and not somewhere most people would go to, but now it is spreading. Broadway I did occasionally go to there were a couple of shops I liked and it is a long walk from Downtown, anyway the area was 'gentrified' some time back but now things are getting bad. As always voting has consequences and they replaced one idiot with another.
  18. New York will send National Guard to subways after a string of violent crimes https://apnews.com/article/new-york-city-subway-national-guard-crime-f046ecaac79601f6113efa8a0c8f25c7 Hochul, a Democrat, said she will deploy 750 members of the National Guard to the subways to assist the New York Police Department with bag checks at entrances to busy train stations. Sounds racist, what happened to St George?
  19. I think you may be focussing on things that do not matter, read the DS 160, it has the questions you need.
  20. Wrong thread The alternative of adjusting is Consulate processing that has a long queue.
  21. J1 is non immigrant, I do not see HRR, H1b is dual intent and I know schools have used it and obviously needs the school to be cap exempt.
