  1. Thank you for your respond. I tried to track my card through USCIS but I need a form number that is linked to the receipt of paying the immigrant fee. I have received only the receipt number in the email and there is no form number.
  2. Hello, I have received my CR1 visa on 22 March 2024, I have arrived to USA on 23 April 2024 after my second anniversary on 15 April 2024. Upon arrival at the US airport I informed the officer that it's been 2 years for my marrigae and asked if I will be IR1 category, then he told me he can't do anything and stamped CRI on my passport, and told me I have to contact USCIS in my local area. How will I know if the USCIS is issuing me a 10 year GC or a temporary one? I paid the immigration fee before arriving in the US. I tried to link my case to my USCIS online account but can't get the online access code anywhere, I tried to get a new code the system ask for a form number linked to the USCIS receipt that also I don't have. How can I track my Green card? How can I know if they have started working on my Green card? Will I get a 10 years Green card?
  3. On the interview for my case IR5 the counsellor took my passport and the interview seemed like it went well, on the same day after the interview I received an email from the US embassy to fill form DS 5535 and email it back, so i did that. A day after.I received my passport back by mail without the visa printed and B1/B2 visa cancelled. Included in the mail was form 221(g) requesting to provide documents “passport” checked Does the embassy need me to send my passport back? I am confused as to why did they send back my passport at the same time asking me to send it back to them? did this happen to anyone before or any opinions ? I have attached the form for reference.
  4. House I live in and showing as my physical/mailing address in the form
  5. Hello, I have an uploaded I-864 for 2021 where my income was insufficient so I have added my paid off house as an asset, my wife got DQ with a Message of insufficient income and may need to add a joint sponsor. I can't find a joint sponsor and at the time we submitted the case I was just starting a new job (mid 2022). SO now I'm updating my I-864 before the interview on 03/13 and I have added 2022 income which was slightly above the poverty line 25k, and my income for 2023 which is enough to sponsor my wife 50k. Do I need to add the house as an asset to the updated form I-864? will it be valuable?. I'm still at the same job since 2022, I uploaded my current employment letter.
  6. "This case does not meet the minimum income requirement to sponsor the intending immigrants. To avoid delays, an additional Affidavit of Support Form I-864 from a joint sponsor may be submitted. For more information visit https://nvc.state.gov/aos. The consular officer will make a decision regarding this requirement at the time of the interview. For more information, please visit https://www.uscis.gov/i-864p." The is what the message is saying, it's the same as you mentioned, words like "may" are there. Thanks for your reply I will ignore it and hope for the best in the interview.
  7. We have got DQ in December 9 2022 IR1/CR1 for my wife but received a message saying we may need a joint sponsor. What was uploaded at the time of the DQ was 2021 income which was 17k. I have started a new job mid 2022 with a salary of 50k a year, my income for 2022 was 25k (since I started the job mid year 2022) and income for 2023 it was 50k. I will be uploading a new I-864, tax returns, w2's and paystubs. Is my current income sufficient without a joint sponsor, or it is there a possibility my wife will be asked for one during the interview which is in March 13 2024? I am unable to find a joint sponsor.
