LoveMyTico got a reaction from andymack in OMG I HAVEN'T BEEN APPROVED in 190 days! So awesome! Life is good!
start cry after you hit 350 days...sometimes sarcasm isn't the best way to deal with things especially if others have waited ( and are still waiting) longer than you. Everyone knows TSC is slow. Its really not necessary to keep starting threads to cry about it. GOODNESS....

LoveMyTico got a reaction from Marco&Bettina in Our own thread
We waited 11 months and 6 LOOOOONNNNNGGGGGGGG days at TSC. ( see my spoiler) I know exactly how you all feel. I hung out on VJ everyday. The quick approval posts are annoying to say the least BUT honestly, the best thing to help that is to NOT read them. When I was waiting, the I-130's were at a stand still and the K1's seemed to be streamlining through. It seems the USCIS rotates the priorities.
I will say that there is definitely something wrong with TSC. They literally drag their a$$es.
Thank God you are all in process now because when that silly executive action garbage hits the USCIS, L@@K @UT ... I am sure there will be a huge backlog and Iam sure they will push aside the current filers just to process the ridiculousness

LoveMyTico got a reaction from Jenvds in 212 (a) (7) (a) (i) (I) with no other issues
My suggestion:
Go to the Netherlands, marry him, come back and start the process with an I130. If he needs a waiver, you will be told at his interview. Then you file the waiver and wait until it's approved. When he finally gets his visa, he will have a green card and will be able to work immediately after POE. The k1 process is more expensive and he can't work when he arrives. You have to file for work authorization. Its just my suggestion. I think you need to find out exactly how they removed him when they denied entry. Maybe contract a lawyer and just do a consultation. It doesn't sound like he will need the I601 waiver but possibly the I212. It depends on how they removed him.

LoveMyTico reacted to Highyella72 in Green card after entering US
The OP posted in the CR1/IR1 forum, not the K1 forum. So the answers they have received are correct. The K1 process is different... all together..... honestly you seem to be getting upset, when in fact you are looking in the wrong forum.....

LoveMyTico reacted to newacct in Green card after entering US
If you enter the U.S. on an immigrant visa (i.e. someone filed a I-130 petition for you while you were abroad, and it was approved, and you went to a consulate and was interviewed etc. and got an immigrant visa), then you become a permanent resident on entering the U.S., and they will mail you the physical card. This is the OP's situation.

LoveMyTico got a reaction from trublubu2 in USCIS's official word on TSC wait times
there is also an "as of" date listed . The USCIS operators read off the screen. They have no idea what the process is or how long it takes. They just plain "read off a screen" . Whatever the "AS OF" date is, just add that time to whatever date they are posting. You still might not even be close to the actual date.
Also, everyone needs to realize that VJ is not all that accurate. Its for entertainment purposes only. There are alot of trolls out there that create fake profiles and fake info. Plus, there are tons of people who create a profile and never come back .
Then, there are people who have no clue how to create a timeline and never add anything.

LoveMyTico got a reaction from amartins in Request for I-485 additional information
Not available immediately if you just recently filed. It takes a while for the IRS to get it in the system.

LoveMyTico got a reaction from elmcitymaven in Help Fight VAWA fraud
you already posted all this in another thread.
Get a lawyer. You were advised in the other thread what to do. The answers aren't going to be different in a new thread

LoveMyTico got a reaction from TBoneTX in does Costa rica require a passport for entry or re entry permit ok?
My husband is Costa Rican. He says she needs a passport. And why not just go get a passport at your local consulate? Its very easy. why not take all the doubt away?

LoveMyTico reacted to aaron2020 in U.S RESIDENT DOES NOT WANT TO FIX WIFE'S STATUS
Please do not give out wrong info and cover yourself with a you might want to ask a lawyer.
This is not possible without an underlying I-130.

LoveMyTico got a reaction from TiestoSoulmates in 601 Expedite Waiver approved!!!!!! Now What?
POE = Port of Entry
Elis is the system where you pay the immigrant fee AFTER you get your visa. You need your A-number to register for the account and you have to pay with a US account.
You can contact the embassy in Morocco and ask them if they have the approval from the USCIS. Our embassy emailed the instruction letter and let me email the documents before my husband went for his second interview to drop off his new medical and police report. We already knew we would need those so my husband went the say we got the waiver approval notification.
The embassy won't budge until they get the approval from the USCIS. Sometimes they want the hard copy in snail mail, and sometimes they will get an email confirmation from the USCIS. It all depends on how your embassy does business.
You can check your status on the CEAC site. I watched the date change on our case a million times. I was happy that at least I could see that somebody was working on it. Unlike the USCIS where you have no idea and you are left in the dark.
GOOD LUCK

LoveMyTico got a reaction from TiestoSoulmates in 601 Expedite Waiver approved!!!!!! Now What?
Does the USCIS website show an approval? If there are no updates on the CEAC, then the embassy hasn't started working on it. I got my Senator's office involved. They contacted the USCIS and the embassy to let them know it was an expedite. The Embassy in Costa Rica was amazing. I called them twice a week. They were super helpful. It sounds like the embassy in Morocco is not going to be very helpful. Try contacting them through email and the phone.
The immigrant fee should be paid before your husband enters the US. I read somewhere that its not really a big deal if you don't pay before he arrives but it will delay the green card. My husband has been here a month and we are still waiting for his green card to come in the mail. His SS card arrived only 8 calendar days after he arrived. The USCIS says to wait 45-60 days for the green card. They make me so nervous. I don't trust a word they say.

LoveMyTico got a reaction from Asia in Out of status and stuck on what to do! Help guys please. (merged)
a friend of mine has a stripper wife. She brings home $3000 a week. Only works Thursday night, Friday night and Saturday night. It lets her stay home with her 3 small kids during the week. He watches the kids when she works. They have a really nice house and two really nice cars.
OP's wife has to be making money stripping.... probably doesn't claim any of it. Maybe she can amend her taxes from the last 2 years and claim the stripping money.. Problem solved

I don't have a degree and I make over $27/hour at a large Pharma Co. Sign up with the temp agencies. Its a way to get your foot in the door. Alot of times you can be a file clerk and make $15-$20 per hour Easy.
It may not be long term, but your wife could be offered a permanent job while on temp assignments. There are jobs out there. Don't use "not having a degree" as an excuse. If you really want this, it will happen. Sometimes you have to work a little.

LoveMyTico got a reaction from Asia in nightmare k1 marriage
was the brother the one who brought that child illegally? I would say call ICE. Mention human trafficking with a child involved and you might get a fast response. Let ICE deal with them.
File a restraining order and make sure to explain EVERYTHING in the documentation . CYA. CYA CYA
and I agree with most of the posts. I just don't understand how you did not know about a 2 year old child? How long did you know her before you married her? I would lay a paycheck on the table and bet this was all planned. Maybe she was even paid to marry an American to provide a place for other illegals when they cross. IDK just thinking out loud .

LoveMyTico got a reaction from JohnThailandJohn in i601 Form Question
The waiver is adjudicated in the United States at the Nebraska service center. You will get a new receipt number beginning with LIN... the embassy issues the visa after they get the approval from the USCIS.
