  1. Woo HOO!!!!! Congratulations fellow citizen!!
  2. Correction to my typo above • InterviewScheduled: 1914
  3. Today's stats: March 24, 2024 22:00 EDT November 2024 Filed I-485 Stats • Approved: 434 • Denied: 124 • FingerprintScheduled: 249 • InterviewCancelled: 87 • InterviewScheduled: 14914 • Processing: 37,288 • Received: 737 • Rejected: 104 • RFE: 1,128 • Terminated: 112 • Withdrawal: 3 • Others: 85
  4. This should not be one of your concerns… as I said above, having an expired NOA2 will not affect your ability to schedule the interview nor will it have any influence on the consular officer in making his or her decision on your visa
  5. There is no point contacting them about the expiring I-129F approval. It will not be done ahead of time. The consular officer conducting the interview, if they are going to approve the K-1 visa, will extend the validity date at that time. My only suggestion would be to bring updated letters of intent to marry if your NOA2 is past the expiration date at the time of the interview. The expiry date will not hinder you getting the interview scheduled
  6. If your I-485 is denied then any other application filed based on that I-485 is no longer valid so you would have to file all 3 if you want the AP and EAD
  7. It will be near impossible and you do not want two applications for the same benefit floating around USCIS You should use the "Ask Emma" chat on USCIS and select the "Chat with a live agent" option
  8. Because those people have attended their biometrics appointment and their status changes to "Case is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS"
  9. Ok so if you are filing it concurrently with an I-485 or with an I-485 pending, your fee should be $260 and your filing category will be (c) (9)
  10. EAD is Real ID compliant... Jaycel just used it a couple of days ago on our trip to FL. We also brought her passport in her maiden name, marriage cert and her I-485 NOA1 just in case and no issues whatsoever
  11. Happy to chime in... Jaycel had to watch a video on how best to remove it and re-seal the plastic Here's the link to the video she watched:
  12. Today's stats: March 22, 2024 22:15 EDT November 2024 Filed I-485 Stats • Approved: 398 • Denied: 122 • FingerprintScheduled: 247 • InterviewCancelled: 87 • InterviewScheduled: 1452 • Processing: 37,736 • Received: 744 • Rejected: 104 • RFE: 1,174 • Terminated: 112 • Withdrawal: 3 • Others: 87
  13. Standard 11x13 is correct... It will be wrapped in clear plastic with the passport in between the plastic and the brown envelope. She will have to carefully slit the plastic open without cutting open the brown envelope to get the passport out and then tape over the slit. There are several videos on YouTube on how to do this if she searches.
  14. Today's stats: March 22, 2024 09:15 EDT November 2024 Filed I-485 Stats • Approved: 389 • Denied: 122 • FingerprintScheduled: 255 • InterviewCancelled: 86 • InterviewScheduled: 1276 • Processing: 37,895 • Received: 746 • Rejected: 105 • RFE: 1,191 • Terminated: 111 • Withdrawal: 3 • Others: 87
  15. The Biden administration gave discretion to USCIS to waive green card interviews (especially initial AOS applicants) as long as they had a strong case... This was done to try to alleviate the large backlog that had built during COVID times
  16. This is perfect. Thank you for starting your month's thread! I did the same for November filers
  17. Agreed.... I do not believe an I-290B would be allowed here. Refile as soon as you can and do it with assistance
  18. I've seen them responding within a week and I've also seen them take 4-8 weeks to issue the receipt numbers. You can make an inquiry to the lockbox support email after 30 days of its receipt
  19. How much of a fee did you pay for the I-765 and what category did you file it under?
  20. Today's stats: March 21, 2024 21:15 EDT November 2024 Filed I-485 Stats • Approved: 384 • Denied: 119 • FingerprintScheduled: 258 • InterviewCancelled: 87 • InterviewScheduled: 1103 • Processing: 38,055 • Received: 749 • Rejected: 105 • RFE: 1,203 • Terminated: 111 • Withdrawal: 3 • Others: 87
  21. We received an RFE on our I-129F and responded ourselves and were approved 4 days after they received our response. Like @MalloryCat said above, if you could share the RFE here we could help you better
  22. Expiration of the validity date will not affect your getting an interview... If you go to the interview and it is expired, as long as the consular officer doing the interview approves the visa, they will automatically extend the validity date of the NOA2. I would suggest that if it is expired, you bring updated letters of intent to marry to the interview as per the FAM the CO can request updated LOIs if the NOA2 is expired
  23. The good thing about this status - The whole time from when NVC sends your I-129F packet to the embassy through the interview, the embassy treats your K-1 visa as if it is an immigrant visa (because of the immigrant intent) UNTIL it gets time for the visa issuance. Because it still technically is a nonimmigrant visa, it has to be issued by the NIV section of the consulate. When the CEAC status syays "Application Received" that means that the IV section has transferred the packet to the NIV section for visa issuance. It doesn't mean all AP checks are done, but it is a good sign that your packet is moving to the right department of the consulate to issue the visa
  24. Today's stats: March 21, 2024 08:15 EDT November 2024 Filed I-485 Stats • Approved: 378 • Denied: 119 • FingerprintScheduled: 261 • InterviewCancelled: 87 • InterviewScheduled: 952 • Processing: 38,176 • Received: 752 • Rejected: 105 • RFE: 1,233 • Terminated: 110 • Withdrawal: 3 • Others: 88 Definitely looks to track with @hplusj analysis above - Since my last stats two days ago, only 18 more approvals but almost 300 more interviews scheduled
