  1. Administrative processing at the Islamabad Consulate take a while
  2. Go on the public inquiry form and write: Per the request in your letter, below is the updated mailing and email addresses for the petitioner and beneficiary: And then provide them the mailing and email addresses
  3. Can you post a picture of the RFE (all pages) here so that we can help? (Redact any personal information before posting) I'm assuming this is for the I-129F petition?
  4. When you get the copy of the birth certificate, scan it and upload it in the portal under "Unsolicited Evidence". There is a category you can select for the document called "Bona Fides of Relationship"
  5. Today's stats: March 18, 2024 15:10 MDT November 2024 Filed I-485 Stats • Approved: 342 • Denied: 114 • FingerprintScheduled: 269 • InterviewCancelled: 80 • InterviewScheduled: 506 • Processing: 38,569 • Received: 767 • Rejected: 106 • RFE: 1,312 • Terminated: 108 • Withdrawal: 2 • Others: 89 Almost 100 interviews scheduled since last night's post
  6. Seeing scheduled interviews outpace approvals in November also
  7. You do not need this at the I-129F stage... As @Boiler stated above, it will come into play at the consulate interview stage.
  8. Jaycel’s birth certificate was registered 3 years late and they never asked her for any “secondary” documents And she busted her butt to get the certificate from the civil registrar and her baptismal certificate before the interview. Don’t worry too much about it being a few days late registered.
  9. After everything you had to go through? You got this
  10. Today's stats: March 17, 2024 21:20 MDT November 2024 Filed I-485 Stats • Approved: 337 • Denied: 114 • FingerprintScheduled: 268 • InterviewCancelled: 80 • InterviewScheduled: 408 • Processing: 38,653 • Received: 769 • Rejected: 107 • RFE: 1,329 • Terminated: 108 • Withdrawal: 2 • Others: 89 Interviews scheduled really pulling ahead of approvals
  11. This is true.... When I was living there with Jaycel, we ordered copies of her birth certificate from PSA and they arrived.... like they had come on the slow boat from South America
  12. I've only ever heard of USCIS using USPS not UPS
  13. If you mean the VAC I would probably prefer that option as well
  14. We just carry a copy of Jaycel's I-485 NOA1 so the she can show she has an application pending adjudication which should put her in a period of "Authorized Stay" while its being processed
  15. Today's stats: March 17, 2024 14:10 MDT November 2024 Filed I-485 Stats • Approved: 329 • Denied: 113 • FingerprintScheduled: 265 • InterviewCancelled: 79 • InterviewScheduled: 360 • Processing: 38,704 • Received: 772 • Rejected: 107 • RFE: 1,336 • Terminated: 108 • Withdrawal: 2 • Others: 89
  16. Hmmmm.... Maybe that first email was just generic language sent to everyone then. It can't hurt to use the contact form again and state that their previous reply did not address your concern and reiterate that you received an email stating what you posted above and that according to their timeframes website, you are outside the current processing times, and you need to know if your case is lacking anything in order to be reviewed.
  17. Have you tried contacting them via the online inquiry form? https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/ask-nvc.html
  18. This is what I could find on the DoS website for Tblisi: If you are older than 16 years of age: An original police certificate, including maiden names and former married names, from your country of current residence and countries of previous residence. Police certificates from Georgia need to be obtained at the Service Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in Tbilisi at P. Kavtaradze street 21. In the regions, they can be obtained at the structural units of the Service Agency. Please note that two separate Police certificates from Georgia (issued by the Service Agency) need to be submitted for IV purposes including current and expunged convictions. 19. Guaranteed RFE - Do not redact anything. Everything in your file that is sensitive, PID, etc. is classified. Send the entire Tax Return Transcript
  20. You can file the I-751 after May 19, 2026. Make sure you file it so that it is received by USCIS after that date but before the GC expires
  21. As a matter of fact... Jaycel got her new SS Card in her married name in the mail exactly a week after they approved her I-765 which was about 3 days before she got the EAD card. LOL
  22. Yes those were the first forms we used her new, married name. As long as the new name is some combination of the names that appear on the marriage certificate, USCIS will do it. It will not work for her daughter becuase USCIS uses your certified copy of the marriage certificate as the official name change document. There is no such document for her daughter. That will have to be done by a court/legal process. While I'm thinking about it, when you go to record your marriage, it says you get one certified copy and more are available for $2 each. Do yourself a favor and pay for like 10 extra certified copies. They will come in handy. We did that here because extra copies were $1.25 each.
