Ceremony was 45 mins, and everyone is seated 20 mins before the appt time. Give at least a hour for the whole process.

Parking is on the southeast building, 15$ is what it costs... no public parking around the court house.

ImmigrantKrish got a reaction from springguy in Speeding Ticket - How to during interview
Update on speeding ticket
----------------
I just finished my interview and the officer asked me to clarify why the form said I had an arrest listed. I explained that I put in traffic citation with a date and when the form is completed, it showed the citation date as Date arrested.
Officer concurred that I should list the ticket as it is part of citation question, but they are ONLY looking for serious offenses or issues, not normal speeding.
Anyone reading this, please be truthful and you will get a chance to explain, and that is what I did.
Some chose to not list it and during the interview they bought it up and the officer had to put that in the form.
Choice is yours... but I say from my experience they are not going to deny for an ordinary speeding ticket that is taken care off.

Thus endeth the process - had my N-400 interview in Seattle yesterday. I was called in about 40 minutes past the scheduled time, finished up in about 15 minutes. Heading out I just missed one oath ceremony and had to wait about an hour for the next which was the last of the day.
I had already scheduled an urgent travel appointment at the Passport Agency for today on the assumption that I'd pass, had to wait well over two hours past that appointed time, but I should have my passport in a day or two, I can't be in travel limbo for 2+ months.
Surreal how quick this last step was compared to all the other steps...

Gotta love the ways attorneys separate clients and their money. Sometimes I think I picked the wrong career lol.

You didn’t fully take my message. 45 days including USPassport then get the naturalization certificate back. That too if the OP can get the expedited appointment.

ImmigrantKrish got a reaction from OldUser in N400 interview scheduled for march, i have a trip in May outside US [merged threads]
Oath ceremony dates depends on FO. Phoenix does it every 2 weeks, and some places it takes weeks/months.
But if you get the oath ceremony you can always ask to reschedule.

Just finished my oath ceremony at US District Court, Arizona District. 71 of us from 31 different countries took the oath and became citizens.
Court clerk put the ceremony on docket and Judge approved the docket, full formarlisque ceremony. Glad to put this behind and now I can shred anything and everything that has F1-, H1, GC and Usics on it (except the naturalization cert).
My journey took 24 years, I could have applied in 2018, which would be 18+ years if I chose to. Coming from India, the backlog is huge glad to be done with.

Expedited plus overnight postage. Total was $209.53 plus the $35 charged by the county.
The lady said 3 to 5 weeks for passport. Then 2 to 4 weeks to get original Naturalization Certificate back.

I’ve never heard of missing AR-11s this being an issue for N-400.
That said she should report her current address now.
She should get a drivers license for her current state of residence. At the interview she is likely to be asked for it. She should don’t is at least three months before she files N-400.

You guys are funny and extremely optimistic in this thread 😁 expecting to get your interview letters like the next day/week after applying. First it was holiday season, we all had days off, right. USCIS is no different, they pick up where they left - somewhat slowly. Some October filers haven’t gotten their invitations yet, just saying. Numerous field offices continue working on Oct-Nov filers. And I still think they process N-400 quite fast. Patience peeps, patience. In SF local field office it currently takes anything in between 4 to 8mo.

If you do not have an account, then you will need to create one. If you already have one (I think you would if you file online), then log into that account, check under documents tab to see the NOA and bio-reuse (if they do) mailers.
If you do not have account, you will get them (NOA and Bio) by USPS and you will get them in 7 - 10 days, or 5+ business days. You should register the account online so you can check to make sure you get interview scheduled letter online, before you get it via usps.
since your daughter is under 18, you DO NOT apply for n-400. Wait for either you or your wife gets naturalized certificate, then apply for her passport/passport card and then claim the citizenship with N-600 ( I believe, some one correct me if I am wrong). She inherits the citizenship from the parents, provided she is under 18 and some other rules.
