  1. Here is the link. Scroll all the way down to see Field Office Locator. Type your zip code and voilá. Most likely it will be Houston but you can double check. https://www.uscis.gov/about-us/find-a-uscis-office/field-offices
  2. That was my sentiment exactly and one of the main reasons I filed for N-400. The whole situation is not getting better, Schengen visas are hard to get and mostly given for the dates of upcoming trip as opposed to multi-entrance. I wanna be able to travel with my husband. I got my 10y green card on Feb 1. Good luck to you regardless of what you choose - waiting longer or filing N-400. The end of VJ comes soon.
  3. You guys are funny and extremely optimistic in this thread 😁 expecting to get your interview letters like the next day/week after applying. First it was holiday season, we all had days off, right. USCIS is no different, they pick up where they left - somewhat slowly. Some October filers haven’t gotten their invitations yet, just saying. Numerous field offices continue working on Oct-Nov filers. And I still think they process N-400 quite fast. Patience peeps, patience. In SF local field office it currently takes anything in between 4 to 8mo.
  4. Howdy! I have not received my interview letter as of yet. Worth mentioning though that when I applied for N-400 in October I still had a pending I-751 case that fortunately got approved in the end of January so hopefully now I’m all lined up for an interview invitation some time soon. I feel like we all should receive it in Feb for March-April interviews. Generally speaking I’m very pleased with the speed they are moving on adjudicating citizenships across the country. Much faster than dealing with I-551. CA is just more swamped than some other states and SF field office is quite busy I bet. We’ll get there soon. One last step of this rodeo!
  5. You’re in a WAC service center too, they may still be working on October filers, just saying, as my October case in WAC got approved several days ago. At least I won’t need to deal with a combo. Don’t get discouraged, it will come for you soon.
  6. Wish I could give you a good news. Have you tried to check for I-751 timelines instead to get a feeling what month is getting approved?
  7. Haha, my freaking dossier worked dealing with a pesky RFE. “New card is being produced” today. I’m certainly not encouraging people to send that much paper or hole punched documents under normal circumstances BUT if you have to deal with RFE where they lost your papers sending a substantial stack won’t hurt. They did not care whether it was loose or hole punched and organized.
  8. Haha, thanks. Yeah, now waiting for invitation for my N-400 interview, but it will certainly come sooner unlike dealing with I-751.
  9. I’m a very late October 2021(filed on 28th to be precise) filer, WAC. Decided to share my news here as well. - RFE in October 2022 - Sent my response in January - RFE response acknowledged on Jan 10 - Today, Jan 25 “New card is being produced” HOORAY! And good luck to everyone here! My range was 11XXX.
  10. Well folks, I finally got lucky. WAC filer here. Had and RFE sent to me in October 2022(lost almost the whole pile of docs), replied to them in January, they acknowledged receiving it on Jan 10. Today as a part of my morning routine I clicked to renew the page for checking MyCase and it happily shines from there “New Card is being produced”. GOOD LUCK TO ALL WHO AWAIT.
  11. Thanks for the daily update! Keep forgetting to ask how long are you waiting for your I-751 and which local field office in WAC? Your timeline is not available.
  12. Weird. I applied in the very end of Oct for my I-751. Beginning of their new fiscal year?
  13. I certainly do not regret applying for N-400 no matter what. Dunno if I mentioned I had a movement on my I-751 the same exact week after I applied for citizenship - it was a RFE. Could be a coincidence, you never know. And yes, OldUser, I did respond to my RFE. I don’t believe it has anything to do with me applying for N-400 as they just lost my docs anyways. Even without my N-400 they would not just magically reappear at the office. Now just waiting. Not clear to me why am I in the 11XXX range whereas other members are in 21-22, though we all applied in the same month.
  14. I wouldn’t mind some movement in 11500-11900 range either for the same service center.
  15. And what to make of my 11XXX range? I recently replied to their RFE, which they acknowledged and currently “has begun working on your case again”…dunno how long it takes after RFE to hear from them.
  16. Hmmm, then I don’t know what to think of mine - 11XXX. Btw what is your local field office if you happen to have filed your N-400 by now? I see that you are a WAC ROC filer too.
  17. From what I remember reading all over various forums here when asked they same question members have been advised to put info about your trips ONLY for the time you are being a LPR here, so yes, from the date your green card issued. Hope others will chime in too and confirm that info for you. Maybe @OldUser ?
  18. Second that. IRS tax transcripts only! USCIS even mentions that it’s what they prefer. Good luck!
  19. @Rocio0010 I used your lead and wanna say THANKS A BUNCH. I’m an Oct 2021 I-751 filer and I did not know about this VJ forum back then so I sent my I-751 all with loose papers to the best of my ability and judgment on which pages they may need. Well, it did not go well. October 2022 I got an RFE where they were stating they received only a several photographs + tax refund for 2020. Naturally it was insufficient evidence of a bona fide marriage and made me look like I’m not eligible for ROC. They just lost the whole stack of papers I sent them…so I had to treat my RFE just like another I-751. I finally sent out my 1.5incher dossier in the beginning of Jan. Literally everything but the kitchen sink they have from me. And I used your helpful guiding directions on how to organize all of it as I’m not giving them another chance to lose my papers. Enough is enough. Just my 5 cents, regardless of them NOT wanting hole punched docs. They got it anyways. This time I hope for a favorable response the sooner the better.
  20. Indeed. Wouldn’t mind to get an interview in Feb as well. I filed on Oct 17. So far you are the first person from SF office 🫶🏻
  21. Omg! This gives me hope. SF local field office filer here too. When did you file your N-400, curious? Thx
  22. Time to exhale 🙌🏻 I on the other hand still have RFE to deal with. Won’t mind to have a separate N-400 interview either, even if I have to wait for a pending I-751 after that too.
