  1. What’s your local field, curious? Joining this thread as I already prepared my N-400 online and waiting for mid-month to submit it.
  2. Yeah. It takes heaps of time, so it seems. California Service Center - also no updates since March when they reused my fingerprints. Filing for N-400 as soon as I’m eligible - Oct 16.
  3. Oh I haven’t received mine yet 🙂 But to answer your question California is my service center. Still hanging tight here as most of us )
  4. Congrats 🥳 So far you are just a 4th person here to get your approval.
  5. I’m on the same page here with this 👆🏻user. I can’t believe my eyes that somebody’s I-751 is taking THAT long - 3+ years with no action taken, bizarre. This should not take so long. In most cases filing for N-400 does help, at least USCIS currently moves faster with naturalization and mostly grants combo interviews. My immigration lawyer calculated the dates for my I-751 and N-400 filing right away and did not advise in any way against filing when becoming eligible so I certainly won’t wait, filing this October.
  6. It is not, but I value real people experience and so far it does help to apply for a citizenship as soon as you are eligible. Won’t hurt to do that anyways, why wait…duh
  7. ABSOLUTELY! Moreover, I’ve heard it’s only beneficial and speeds up the whole process with I-751 too. I’m eligible this October and will be doing that asap! Also, are you sure you’re becoming eligible only in January? You are in October filers thread. Whoever is married to a US citizen and got their Green Card in Jan of 2020 is eligible to apply for naturalization this October(after 2y9mo of having a permanent resident card). Double check your eligibility with USCIS filing calculator on their website.
  8. @Cheschirecat 🥳🥳🥳 Yeah, I couldn’t manage to read all 30+ pages of this discussion but I still did my homework and perused maybe the last 4-5(?) and noticed those 2 lucky people. How must be exciting to have this load off the shoulders 🥹 We’ll all get there sooner or later though I’d appreciate it rather sooner ))
  9. Somehow it appears to be more of an internal message for them than for you, dunno why they bothered putting it on your “check my case” database. Can’t make much of this info alas.
  10. Thanks, that would be the best and most convenient scenario 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
  11. @OldUser I get that, but there is still a hope and you can always ask for your cases to be merged and they may grant it. Anyhoo after one gets approved for N-400 who would really care about pending I-751 at that point )
  12. Howdy everyone! Just found this useful website via reddit. I’m in the same boat as all of October 2021 filers. I’m pondering on filing for N-400 on Oct 16 as I’ve heard that it speeds up the process a lot and merges your cases with a combo interview. My understanding is that N-400 timeline for SF field office is currently anything in between 4 to 8ish months. Sounds more promising than having my 10y green card any time soon 😼 Here is my timeline for CA Service Center(WAC) so far. No more updates atm. I-751 timeline(ROC): Sent by USPS certified mail with return receipt on 10/25/2021 Delivered to Arizona lockbox on 10/28/2021 USCIS cashed the check on 11/2/2021 Received I-797 NOA on 11/5/2021 Fingerprints were reused as of March 11
