I went back to look for the post with the link and I guess it was actually a WhatsApp group link for September/October filers. Can still ask maybe. https://chat.whatsapp.com/KltAm23lE6IIcS2sOpk2e1

That’s where my math took me as well. Super exciting! Let’s see how well USCIS does this month.

It’s probably still too early to start data mining for March given USCIS just started working on January cases.

I’ve started using this spreadsheet to monitor what’s going on: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/0/d/1sN2bo1xZhs8oVU6-QDUdBXBX2_ci8_QJ0wiz59Gp6H4/htmlview#gid=0

A lot of information in one place. USCIS processed over 3,800 cases in February. I think there was like 18 work days in February, that includes 1 holiday and 1 snowday. With the huge numbers on a few days that brought the February average to around 212 cases a day.

Looking at this screenshot and going by the numbers in the second column “Case Received,” if USCIS keeps up the current pace, man they could burn through a lot of cases this month. I think March has like 23 work days, and no federal holidays. So much potential for this month.

Given that March is the biggest month of 2022, they are probably around just not posting much yet. December had a good day today and maybe they will get under 1000 touched cases this week. Like you said, January is being worked now and that’s exciting. Our turn is just around the corner.

Hi Jan filer. I was finally able to get the USCIS case tracker to work. Looks like the system was down Fri-Sun. You will notice some changes in the numbers I pulled. I have been following this spredhseet https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1sN2bo1xZhs8oVU6-QDUdBXBX2_ci8_QJ0wiz59Gp6H4/edit#gid=915902491 and they added case numbers, so numbers I reported on last week had some december included. I adjusted this weeks numbers to reflect only Jan files. I will pull this again in a few days and post it. I will say though, the spreadsheet linked above has SO MUCH data. Have a great week!!!

I would like see this increase on Trump administration, i am pretty sure that the media would talk about that abuse every day, but it is in this administration they dont talk. Really what this administration is doing is getting money from people who pay to hire more officer to give free green cards to the illegal who are get in the country from the open borde,

I'm around the same time, 1 April, 68000 range, so when they start March, I will be following the tracking closely.
We are all in the same boat ... they have been speeding up quite a bit, and hopefully they keep this up so we can get our approvals sooner than expected.
The higher the numbers, the earlier we can move to the next stage. Praying and fingers crossed, it has been a long wait to be with our partners.

I don’t post a lot, but I felt like I really wanted to say something here because so many people are telling you to cut your losses in one way or another.

You are under an immense amount of stress and pressure right now. The two of you have worked hard and waited a long time to get to this point. I know you are really frustrated and being sick did not help the situation.

No one here is going to know or understand everything that’s going on in your situation. They don’t know the character of your fiancé or what his true intentions are. You’re the best one to have an opinion on that.

What they are calling out to be  “red flags” are coming from a few words that they read on the internet about complete strangers. You, with your fiancé are the only ones that have the whole picture.

I am so sorry that you guys have ran into these problems. Especially since it sounds like they could mostly have been prevented.

But people aren’t perfect. People can be stubborn, know it alls, and drop the ball sometimes. I hope, with all that is good, that these were truly just mistakes that he made. He’s also under a lot of pressure and with some people that can clouds their judgment. I’m not trying to make excuses for him but rather pointing out that he’s human. Hopefully, he can and will learn from this.

My fiancé and I are still learning each others differences of how we do things and figuring out how to blend them together. It can be frustrating because I’m a bit of a control freak and he is use to doing things on his own. Like on a recent trip we took, he was in charge of one thing, transportation to the hotel that was hours away. His “plan” didn’t work out and we were stranded for a bit. I was upset and kept saying in my head that I wish I had dealt with it instead of asking him to. I even said something out loud to him that indicated that I didn’t have faith in him to do it right. I really felt bad about that one. In the end, he got it figured out.

Things can and will go wrong. And in those moments be emotionally and physically exhausting.

I encourage you to communicate with your fiancé with as much of a clear head as possible.

Thank you everyone that took the time to reply. I just returned from Tunisia a few days ago. We stayed in an Airbnb in Tunis for a couple days each on arrival and departure. Then we went down to Sousse for 11 days and stayed at an all inclusive hotel.

No problems at all regarding us not being married. I did contact the Airbnb host before hand and explained our situation and she said it wasn’t a problem. I also contacted the hotel and explained the same and they also said we could stay in one room together. Thankfully, it all worked out.

Sorry if this message is too late for your booking, but my fiance is also from Algeria and we vacationed throughout Tunisia for 45 days using Airbnb. I too was aware of the issues of being able to stay together while not being married, but found that was easy to navigate through Airbnb. When looking at your options, there will be a tab that says "house rules" and under that it will usually say if a certificate is required or not. Most places are pretty laid back, but just be aware to actually look for that tab instead of expecting that to be indicated in the post (in my experience it never said in the description of the rental, I had to look at the "house rules" section at the bottom to know.

Also, another indicator is to see where the host lives, how many other airbnbs they have, and also read the reviews. Most of the time if the host has multiple Airbnbs or lives in another country, the host won't even be on site to check you in, so you don't have to worry about any certificate or any other issues. Also, the reviews are a very helpful indicator to see if they have past couples complimenting them on their stay, then you know you are in the clear also.

Hope that helps, and best of luck!

I think if you stay in a touristy place like the capital they won't really ask for it. Different case if you are staying somewhere in the villages. I also think if you are "American passing" and christian they will give you more leeway.

I wanted to update anyone who was interested in our RFE. It came in right before i was leaving the country for 3 weeks so it had to sit until I got back in order for me to deal with it.

Case was updated to RFE on 6/17, letter arrived in the Mail on 6/23. The reason for RFE? They said I didnt answer all the questions, specifically the question about have i ever been arrested, convicted, etc.. I was sure this was a mistake, I loaded up my PDF to see if had indeed missed this question, and I in fact did not. I feel like I have read this before where someone said the same thing happened to them, but it feels lazy, or dishonest even. Regardless, I answered the question on the document they sent and overnighted the letter back to USCIS and it arrived this morning. Now waiting for it to change to RFE Received.
