  1. Because of the new administration policy,It takes nowadays few days or couple of weeks for your case status to get updated from " oath ceremony will be scheduled" to actually being scheduled. Mine took three weeks and it comes with the form N-445 being posted on your myUSCIS documents log and another hard copy mailed to you.
  2. Citizens from 19 countries in this present administration banned list are subject to interview's cancellations or immigration's processing paused. I noticed that during our oath ceremony, none of people's originating from those countries were mentioned. All participants were acknowledged and welcomed according to their country of citizenship. Was it just a coincidence? I don't think so, they purposely I guess removed people originating from those countries in other to comply with the government banned policy.
  3. The day of my oath ceremony, my progress timeline was posted 11 months until final decision. So,it doesn't really mean anything at all.
  4. Congratulations 🎉 🎉 🎉
  5. Thank so much @balo101. Always supportive.
  6. Greetings to y'all following this thread. My immigration journey officially ENDED today after my oath of allegiance ceremony this afternoon in Irving Texas field office. I'm now officially a US CITIZEN. Thanks to you All for your untimely support. Wishing to those who are still waiting a great and successful outcome with their different cases. More Approval to you All.

  8. Your country of origin has a lot to do with this. That's what I really think. But let's just hope for a better ending in all this.
  9. Congratulations for the APPROVALS 🎉 🎉 🎉 🎉 You guys will soon get your oath ceremony scheduled. In my case, my officer told me I was to hear from them in three weeks. It seems like they are no longer doing the same day oath ceremony. They now have to wait a certain amount of days for quality reviews before the oath ceremony can be scheduled. I guess you guys are feeling much relaxed now than before.
  10. If you have had an approved vawa, the interview is mostly focuses on the ADMISSIBILITY grounds ( the YES and No questions). But with in regards to the country you are originating from,be prepared for All. Bring All the documents you can and mostly what was asked on your interview letter. Be calm and trust in God through Jesus-Christ his son and He will make it perfect for you. For her NEVER disappoint those who called upon Him in humility.
  11. Congratulations 🎉 🎉 🎉 🎉 👏 👏 👏 Your immigration journey is now over. Remember to update your SSN and it's mostly nowadays through appointments.
  12. Congratulations for your approval 🎉 🎉 🎉 You were still under the normal 💯 questions civics test because your N-400 was submitted before the promulgation of the new rule provision civic Test. The law is not Retroactive.
  13. Congratulations 🎉 🎉 🎉 👏 👏 👏 Your immigration journey is now over. Do not forget to do your SSN update.
  14. Must be in person. But you may still do that after returning from vacation. It's not something urgent.
  15. Great 👍 Do not forget to update the current status with SSA later on. Appointment is now required in almost all offices.
  16. Congratulations 🎉 🎉 🎉
  17. Thanks. That's the best option: Patiently wait for an update, I hope should be coming very soon.
  18. Congratulations 🎉 🎉 🎉 The process is now over. Wishing you all the best. God bless you.
  19. Do not consider what is on my progress. My oath ceremony is scheduled il less than 3 weeks and on my progress it's: 11 months until final decision. It has been like that for almost all the time. The day I was scheduled for interview it was 22 months before the final decision. Do not consider the time posted on my progress.
  20. What a great relief, knowing that your passport appointment is the next day of your oath ceremony! Congratulations 🎉 🎉 🎉 👏 👏
  21. What is it on your myUSCIS account? But just as @OldUser said, don't worry about it. you will have All those updates very soon and maybe with your oath ceremony notice mailed.
  22. Congratulations 🎉 🎉 🎉 🎉 for your approval. That status is normal after every N-400 cases recommended for approval. It will change again once your oath ceremony is scheduled and the N-445 notice mailed. Mine changed after three weeks as the officer told me.
  23. Better for the interview to be cancelled for overbooking than to attend and have a hard time with an officer not happy of having to deal with too many cases. If it would be the same officer interviewing for that next time, He or She may apologized for that last minute and be more friendly and softer with you during the interview. I bet you, it will work out in your favor. God works sometimes in mysterious Ways.
  24. Sorry to know that you went through all this. I can understand your fear and frustration for the officer going again through all what you fought so hard to forget. I was fortunate by the grace of God for not going through this Three weeks ago during my N-400 (vawa) interview. My officer didn't ask any question relates to my vawa even though I told him that my current marital status was divorced as yours. After Reading your post, I realize that I was really fortunate. It's gonna be okay with your case and you will finally get an approval.
