  1. If I'm getting it right, You filed for citizenship this July 2023 under a green card that was approved 2 years and 09 months ago. Am I correct?
  2. The child is already in their system. But you have nothing to lose by trying to address the question with them so that they can send another prima facie mentioning the child.
  3. Thanks and congratulations πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰ to @Sandra G. for all her inputs and Post in this great forum. She's always there, answering questions, despite all her tightened schedule. VJ-- and the followers of this thread are highly privileged to have such people like her. We appreciate herπŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
  4. You have exactly nailed it @balo101, that's what I wanted to say. He or she doesn't lose anything for asking.
  5. Whaoooh! Thanks so much for this info. Very important to know.
  6. @TBoneTX may help for that.
  7. This idea is very good and will help us to know more better about this process. Guess there is already a thread for citizenship on this VJ-- platform
  8. For the reasonable fees. I dont have any idea. Kindly see with @Sandra G.. She is an immigration attorney specialized in vawa cases. She may refered you to someone available in your area. Don't Panic, remain calm and always trust in God and it shall be well with you.
  9. They are not supposed to ask any question about the abuses. But some immigrations officers can try to go that route. But it's rare. If so, kindly tell him or she that you don't feel comfortable with it because it has already been adjudicated and that you gently want to see the supervisor. He or she will not go further that route and will strictly remain on your form I-485.
  10. I think that in that case, it will be good for the applicant to go to the interview with a lawyer. That could restraint the immigration officer to go where he shouldn't.
  11. Yes it's normal. The vawa interview is mostly the form I-485 ADMISSIBILITY review. Generally what was filled and the YES and NO questions to see whether you are admissible in the USA or not because your most important form I-360 had already been approved.
  12. As for me, I have never used any, despite all the four I had. My EAD/AP (CO9) was sufficient to achieve all what I needed at the time. So, nothing to stress about prima facie as you rightly said.
  13. In the best scenario, the average time I have witnessed so far after vawa approval is always within 60 days.
  14. You're right. @Demise has been so helpful in this forum. Most people are now green card holders and will show up during their citizenship process.
  15. Big Congratulations πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰ Your form I-360 has been approved. Expect it to be produced and then mailed to you in few days.
  16. I'm happy for you. Finally, you can start dreaming now for your green card approval 🌹🌹🌹 God is good, that's why PATIENCE (long-suffering) from the biblical perspective, is one of the fruit of the Holy Spirit that we really need and should be praying for. Blessings and more approvals to All the members or followers of this educational and helpful thread. Shalom πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™
  17. Sorry for your case taking so long πŸ˜” But most people don't receive any RFE before approval. I myself didn't receive any after nearly 22 months before approval. The normal processing time was 24 months at the time. Compare to now, you are almost there. You are most likely gonna be approved soon. Keep trusting God for a better ending πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™.
  18. They may argue that if his or her life is in danger, he or she can still go to any neighboring country for safety.
  19. @balo101is right. No company can't boards you in their aircraft without a valid visa or travel document to the USA for the sake of asylum. it's not even advisable to be asking for asylum when you have already an approved form I-360. So, you have to exercise a lot of patience and go through the entire process or try to expedite if you can be able to prove your case as expeditious.
  20. After filing the renewal, the receipt notice serves as proof and automatic extension of your working permit. No need to worry about that. Just make sure you filed for the extension at least 180 days before it expired. Show the receipt notice to your employer if asked.
  21. I'm just curious πŸ€” Is it possible to send your renewal application more than 180 days before it's expiration date? If No, I think that the renewal CO9 combo card can only be filed after November 02 of this 2023. Thanks for always being there to help πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™
  22. Big congratulations πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰
  23. Ok I see. You are most likely gonna be approved before expiration date. Praying for that.πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™ Nevertheless, send your CO9 combo card for renewal 180 days before it gets expired in other to be on the safest position.
