Better for the interview to be cancelled for overbooking than to attend and have a hard time with an officer not happy of having to deal with too many cases. If it would be the same officer interviewing for that next time, He or She may apologized for that last minute and be more friendly and softer with you during the interview. I bet you, it will work out in your favor. God works sometimes in mysterious Ways.

Sorry to know that you went through all this. I can understand your fear and frustration for the officer going again through all what you fought so hard to forget. I was fortunate by the grace of God for not going through this Three weeks ago during my N-400 (vawa) interview. My officer didn't ask any question relates to my vawa even though I told him that my current marital status was divorced as yours. After Reading your post, I realize that I was really fortunate. It's gonna be okay with your case and you will finally get an approval.

All depends at what time the oath ceremony is gonna be hold. If it's in the morning and you scheduled your same day passport appointment for at least 3 hours after that, why not. The problem is that they can not really tell how long the ceremony it self is gonna take. If you feel it, Then go for it. But you can push the oath ceremony after the new year in other to be more relaxed and stress free. -

Yeah. Found out whether this can work with your office before doing any cancellation. With that, you will be in a safe position and much relaxed. -

If the passport office can still receive you after about 1 h later , no need to cancel your appointment. Because in some office, they say 12:30, but can still receive people more later. -

It varies. You can't really tell in advance what a ceremony is gonna looks like. Sometimes, 30 min to an hour. Uncertainty in ceremonies are also factors not to neglect. It may 10:45 , but start few minutes later. Also,You will not be relaxed during the ceremony if you have an appointment in lesser than two hours time. Why not try to book an appointment the next day after the oath ceremony considering the fact that no one can really predict. Thanks. -

Thanks so much π π π That's what I wanted to do. But was afraid of taking the appointment in advance of the oath day. Of course, I have the date and my flight ticket 8 days after the oath ceremony. Do they go to the appointment with the photo? -

GLORY AND HONOR BE TO GOD. After exactly three weeks of waiting, my oath ceremony has finally been scheduled. I just got an email from USCIS for the update. I logged into myUSCIS account and got the letter in my documents. I have an international travel scheduled 8 days after the oath ceremony. How can I get a passport within this short number times ? Inbox me if you have any tips on that. Thanks π π π -

Just as @OldUser said. I went to the interview with all my printed copies; just in case of. They never asked for it, but it's always good to have than to ever get to give this reply: Sorry officer I forgot to print it. -
I now get it. All this will be sorted out and your cases approved. Keep faith in God and everything gonna workout for your good π.

That's the same thing I wanted to advise. Get in touch with your congress person -
I guess they got married after they were denied the k-1 Visa. The issue now could be the gap between the k-1 Visa denials and the CR1 approval. That country of origin is flagged by USCIS as a high immigration fraudulent place. I guess again ,he wants to look at All these factors before taking his decision to call him for the N-400 interview. He should lawyer up if he is called back for the same interview.

I witnessed peoples receiving the physical copies of their appointment right after they had already gone through with the oath ceremony. In that case they went to their interview with the copy printed from their myUSCIS account. -

The old or the new test depends on the filing date. So those who filed before are still taking the π― questions test. -

Congratulations π π π π π Yeah that's right. The average time for the oath ceremony to be scheduled after the approval is now between two to three weeks in most cases. -
It's gonna be okay after reviewing your immigration history. I think that that something was missing there. That's why I guess he asked the question relates to the work permit, meanwhile you entered the USA with an immigrant status entitled to a green Card; Not a working permit. I think he wants to sort this out before rescheduling the N-400 interview.
