i got mad when i had to wait two years to get approval for the petition and then again when they waited after interview for it to expire so they could send it back as expired petition that way they didnt have to give us an answer........i wore out every governmental official.....yup both presidents and their wife's too.........signed every petition there was for immigration to be reformed and made better for those of us that were and are going thru the process.........now years later its still where it was......it has not changed.....why should it they are accountable to only themselves and they are out side of any area of governmental control that governs the rest of the political arena i sent more emails, faxes,snail mail even wrote to several news papers than i will ever send in my life time if it was just normal daily living.......i dont see the system changing anytime in any of our futures they are not answerable to anything that the rest of the government is answerable to....all they have to do is say we are doing back ground checks for homeland security and thats the end of any inquires for another six months..........

I really dont know anything about legally getting to him....and if you dont want revenge divorce him...refuse to pay the bills in Canada and tell the company's that you wont because you dont live there and you have already advised them that you want them out of your name...chances of him refunding you anything in money is very slim...if he could do this to you no way is he going to pay what he owes you...i hope that at some point in time your able to heal emotionally from all of this

Its really a coin toss when it comes to India some people have a lot of evidence and letters from the family (both sides) agreeing with the marriage and still get denied most of you where not here when I had the pleasure of dealing with India
then other couples have very little evidence and have a smooth ride all the way threw ........it depends on the officer and how that person felt about the truth of your situation when you were interviewed......
truthfully your fathers answer on the phone may not mean a thing if you had strong evidence and a interview that went well.

After 4 years I can finally say my husband is home!! Our 5 yr wedding anniversary is in less than a month! He flew through Abu Dhabi where he had his POE and had no issues! Just so blessed to have had the reaffirmed petition and interview with no ap! He's here in less than a month after his interview!! So happy !!!!!!!!!

I haven't read all of the post....but if he is older as you stated and he has shown he is insecure then really maybe he is jealous and finds you so beautiful that he is afraid he will loose you to some hot guy that you have never met before that has offered you a ride........and thats why he reacted like he did..........im not going to say he is right but i see it as loss of communication........you should always keep your husband in the loop of your plans could be he would say oh hey i will go with you or at least acknowledge that he understands your need to make friends with people that are going thru the same thing you are......sorry guys dont mean to knock you and i mean no insult but men have a mine mine mine mentality and dont like to share what is theirs.....not even socially unless they are there seeing whats going on they dont trust other men and sometimes for good reason. as far as your sister in law be courteous to her when in public if she comes to you home do the same thing but if she gets out of hand tell her your home is the one place you dont have to take ####### so if she can not be courteous to you in your own home is better she leaves might want to clue hubby into that before doing it he might decide to make her behave so there is no heated words between you.

Wow. The simplest answer is to do completely the opposite to what you are doing. Try talking to your wife as an adult, insulting her isn't going to help your relationship. Waiting for the visa and living apart is hard but you are married and you should be a team. Act like a team.

Why should the U.S. care if they get nukes? They are a sovereign country and their enemies have nukes so if they want them for strategic reasons and protect themselves from hostile neighbors why should we stop them?. Not for us to meddle in middle east affairs. I personally think they are committing suicide if they get a nuke as Israel will take them out.

Agreed until the bolded part. The "doctrine of consular nonreviewability" sucks, and there needs to be a way for the U.S. citizen to petition his government for redress of grievances.
