  1. I don't mind a low scoring game in any sport as long as it's because the defenses are playing well. What I DO mind is investing that much time in a sporting event that ends in a tie.
  2. I am assuming it ships there quickly, but sits in a pile waiting to be officially marked as received for weeks on end. Then it sits in another pile and waits to be processed into the system. I would expect it to slow down even more due to the upcoming Holiday season.
  3. According to this it takes 48 days (currently) just to be received by NVC. K1 Fiance Visa Historical Processing Times - USCIS Immigration Processing Times - VisaJourney Step 3: I-129F Approval Time (NOA2) until NVC Receives (time it takes to ship and receive approved I-129F)
  4. Why are we assuming the missile went awry? Maybe the missile went exactly where it was intended to go in order to bring others (NATO) into the fight. Maybe the only thing that went awry was having photographs identifying the missile and it's origin.
  5. It depends on what they think the interview questions will be.
  6. Pre-pandemic she would have been correct. I saw timelines from before the pandemic and start to finish was in as little as 4 months in some cases. Maybe she knew someone who got that quick of a result several years back? You should create a timeline on here and it will give you an estimate based on what other VisaJourney users are experiencing.
  7. The 6 month scenario is a pipe dream, a relic of the past. I don't want to rain on anyone's parade but as it currently stands 18 months would be the best you could hope for. 6 months would only happen for current/new applicants if USCIS started rubber stamping every petition approved without reviewing them. We are currently 15.5 months in, petition was approved 2 weeks ago. We are looking at probably another 6 months (if all goes well) from where it is now.
  8. Probably not the best idea to post details about your case like the WAC receipt number.
  9. Well when we filed with USCIS in late July 2021 the USCIS estimate was 8 months, then they moved it to 10, then 10.5, 11 and 14. It ended up being 15 months, so I am not so sure how accurate those accurate reflections are. Nothing I would like more than for people after us to have a 6 month timeline, but I will believe it when I see it.
  10. Sure they would, it's a perpetual game of "are we there yet" as they continually move the goalposts. The USCIS approval estimates are about as accurate as the local weatherman accurately predicting what the weather will be on a given day 6 months from now.
  11. It's just the range of numbers that your WAC receipt number (the last 6 digits) )falls in. They are in groups of 500 cases. So the 119500 group is any number between WAC2190119500 and WAC2190119999. The 120000 group is any number between WAC2190120000 and WAC2190120499.
  12. Be careful what you wish for. The 6 month processing time by the end of 2023 goal will encourage them to prioritize new applications sooner so they can say they got them done in the 6 month time frame. Applications that are already beyond that time-frame might be pushed aside. But personally I think it's just a bunch of pre election talk designed to convince the voters they are improving the process.
  13. Just watched the 2nd press conference by the SFPD. They said when the officers arrived "the door was opened by (pause) someone inside". Unfortunately, due to the lack of good journalism these days, nobody asked the obvious follow up during the brief answering of questions. Why wouldn't you ask who the "someone" was that opened the door for the police? He said when the door was opened the police could see Mr. Pelosi and Mr. DePape fighting for control of a hammer which would indicate there had to be a 3rd person who opened the door for police, not Mr. Pelosi or his attacker. They also said that the Capitol Police were responsible for security and told reporters that any questions about security at the house should be directed towards the Capitol Police.
  14. I am glad you and I are in agreement that the media should not be pushing conspiracy theories about the motivations of the nudist hippie from Berkley wearing only underwear who attacked an elderly man with a hammer.
  15. A nudist hippie from Berkley doesn't quite fit the narrative the media seems to be trying to go with. They will try to keep the details murky until after the election.
  16. Is it just an assumption that the Pelosi family doesn't have a security detail whether it is provided to them or paid for on their own? Do we know whether or not they had private security who may have been absent during this event? Seems like high profile people with a 100-200 millions dollars in the bank would have some sort of security plan in place. But it also seems like an 82 year old man could have afforded to pay for an UBER a few months back instead of driving under the influence. Of course they should have security, nobody should get attacked like that. If it wasn't provided by government, that might be an oversight. If they didn't think to provide it for themselves considering their income and ability to pay for it, that's just stupid.
  17. If you want to take the shot, go ahead, it's your life. If you want to take ivermectin, go ahead, it's your life. If you don't want one, the other or neither, go ahead, it's your life. Whatever side you stand on you do so because you have chosen a messenger that you trust or have a complete lack of faith in the other messenger. Do what you want, leave the other guy alone.
  18. I would guess that it depends on the reason why the security check hasn't been completed. Could just be that they are short staffed on their end.
  19. Well after 458 days we finally got the NOA2. Now we move over and get in the next line and start waiting again.😁 Time for me to do some research and see what the wait time are for the next steps.
  20. I am using one called USCIS Case Tracker Immigration... it's working now
  21. Well it's official, for the first time since we began this process we have caught up to our VisaJourney Processing Estimate (which currently puts us at 439 days since NOA1). It feels like we have been chasing that estimated processing time forever and now we are about to pass it.
  22. I see 👁️‍🗨️👁️‍🗨️ you 116000 group, I am patiently waiting for my number to come up.
  23. Try to relax and stay positive. You and I have the same NOA1 date, our time is coming soon. Worrying about an expedite 14 months into the process is not worth your time at this point especially since most expedites are rejected in the first place, even when people think they have enough documentation. When we got our NOA1, VJ gave us a predicted NOA2 date of March of this year, which was 6 months ago. As we got closer to March that predicted date kept moving further away so I learned to expect delay after delay. When our NOA2 finally comes through, I will be grateful to have the longest part of the process behind us.
