So only click “Continue” if there is an appointment on the left panel as shown in your screenshot?

Based on our (my previous groups - IR1/IR5) experiences March-August, YES, as long as your Visa Category bar is fully filled.  When missing the last, it didn't show.  Dates differ per category.  Based on experience, IR5 fills up so fast (like within the hour it opened).  IR1 the longest we had was appointment where open for 2 weeks.
CEAC website also updates from time to time - during March to June - 4 press of Continue in a day - you already get a warning (that includes when your PC seems to hang).  Other reports locks at 5th check.  There was an update after (might be June), were locks were were more frequent.  Joining chat groups will help you to prevent getting those locks as others are also watching for everyone in the group.  The watcher will message to group NO AVAIL or OPEN on their watch schedule.

Hi Hunny, After checking many times over a 24 hour period, I received a message something like "you are approaching the maximum times you can view this page, please complete your transaction"...do you know what this means?  This is so frustrating!!!

Yes, avoid checking many times a day by clicking Continue, it will lock your account for 72 hours and will not be able to book apt even if you call them.
Make sure your Category Bar is filled correctly (per your application) and fully up to Visa Classimage.png.5ce0fa1bae6897ce717baee8659aa7ce.png

When you login to check for availability,  you do not need to click on Continue if you do not see any dates on the yellow section below.  This will help you not to freeze your account.
    image.png.eca753330de1d17d2a4e16186d7dbd42.png

It will show like below when there are availability.

    image.png.0a28942b25f64380f5ba177fe0038063.png

As mentioned in my previous post, join the FB group, find a chat group - you will help each other Manila IR5 in watching availability.  In a group, you will also find people that need to cancel their appointments because their medical was extended (sputum), and anyone can monitor to grab the released slot.     My previous chat groups are already closed, since our processed have finished.  Only those looking for appointments can watch for schedules, so once a person got their interview, watching for open slots is no longer available.

    Hope this helps!

I am a US Citizen sponsoring my Canadian PR wife (of Pakistani origin). She has been in Canada for 15 or so years and wanted to know the following regarding the I-130 form.

It asks documentation evidence for schools she has attended, would these only be in the last 5 years? Only the Canadian schools shes attended, or also the Pakistan schools shes attended?

Also, there are certain events that getting documentation is extremely hard, would an affidavit as the website suggests suffice in this regard?

    Thanks.

Normally, I-130 for spouse does not need school evidence unless beneficiary does not have civil docs to prove identity.  Beneficiary's primary needs civil documents, police clearance, Affidavit of support of petitioner.

I've been checking daily, multiple times daily, to see if any interview slots open up for our parent's IR5 visa interview.  Always nothing.  Anyone have tips/tricks/advise on when to look?  Are they issued at certain times of the day/what times?  Do we have to keep checking until we find a slot???  Ugh.

Usually Mondays between 10am - 2pm these past months, but not every monday.  Also join FB group https://www.facebook.com/groups/IR5VISA - this is mostly hosted by Filipinos, you can find group chats that has daily assignments of watching as schedule opens.  Hope this helps!

Thank you so much for the detailed timeline! I think and per the Chicago consulate’s message, they should have mine all done now since I submitted my ROM 2 years ago. Tried ordering a PSA MC online and found out I need transmittal details to be able to order.

Again, thank you so much! This helps a lot. I’ll just keep following up.

When I ordered my MC last month, I also placed an order for my child's BC, I reported 20 years ago.  I remember getting the ROB back then, but can't find it.  I was just curious if am able to get a copy.  Without any transmission reference, I was able to submit and pay request.  PSA replied that they will need to pull it from the archive being reported outside of Philippines, and it may take 2 weeks - gladly it went back positive.  Well, of course, maybe it is now different these days.

Thank you! I just wanted to see if it’s normal that I’ve been waiting for my transmittal details from DFA for over a week now 😅 Thanks again!

from the time SF Consulate told us they sent it to DFA, it took DFA 2 days to respond to email where they said they get archive transmissions from Consulates on Fridays.  Emailed May 27, we got this reply on May 29.  we followed up weekly,  got 2nd email on June 28 with this "Please be informed that we just received the reports for the month of May 2022 from the PH Consulate in San Francisco. It will be scheduled for final checking before it can be transmitted to the PSA. Kindly follow up every Friday of the week to check if the monthly reports are included in our weekly transmittal to the PSA."  then we sent them another email on July 11, and got a a response we needed, transmittal date to PSA on July 8.  PSA was available just last month, Sep.

    Hello!

How long did it take for them to respond to your email? I sent them an email asking the same thing but still haven’t heard back and it has been over a week already.

    Thank you.

SF Consulate, DFA - days to longest was 2 weeks.  But I asked update weekly  For SF Consulate, we email, website inquiry and FB messenger.

  8. Not required.  Proof you can have - letters, emails, snail mails, delivery receipts, chats, voice call logs, money sent receipts, pictures together, pictures with family and friends, picture, pictures, pictures (name the ppl, date, place, occasion, etc.)  Essentially, all that you have that you and your spouse are communicating - log it and keep it.  If petitioner is able to add beneficiary to the work health insurance, that is good proof too.

@hunny&me So if she shows up with no records of vaccinations will they do this Titer Test to confirm what she has or hasn't gotten or just administer the MMR, TDap and whatever else a 35 year old needs to have?

No Titer test.  Most probably a Filipino's recollection of vaccines were done at young age (more than 10 years) - which is common in Philippines.  SLEC will do proper US immigration medical requirement and administer age appropriate vaccines.  You do not have to think about this at all!  SLEC is expert and the only approved medical immigration in Philippines.  Medical doctors/nurses/staff will guide the person all the way.

Patient will also be given the printed vaccines report for personal copy (and used here in US, if needed).  Usually, they ask the patient/beneficiary to come back for pickup after the US immigration interview, as they are in the same area.

. Are you a former Filipino? Was your first marriage in the Philippines? Do you have a divorce recognition in the Philippines?
Our problem is that my fiancé was married in the Philippines. We cannot even file for a PSA until his divorce is recognized here.

We are just confused because many sources have told us a PSA Marriage Cert will be needed at the interview.

    Yes. Yes. No.

When ROM is filed and registered, Philippine Consulate Embassy files it to DFA Manila then DFA sends it to PSA.  All you need to do is wait until it is available in PSA.  Check my timeline to find my reply to other posts, you can probably find answers to your questions.

If i request for CEMAR, am sure it will show my 2 marriages.

On interview, what is needed by USEM is your FOREIGN Marriage Certificate.  We just finished our process last July, hubby POE in US in August.  We just got our PSA MC in September (no use for us at this time).

What is important in Philippines is you - the beneficiary - is free to marry.  Your USC fiance's Filipino citizenship is replaced with US when he took the oath... unless of course, he filed for dual citizenship - that is another story.  Reason I am not filing for dual as I do not want my ex-husband back 🙂

  11. Get married anywhere than Philippines.  (We did via Utah .. we called it Destination Wedding.. I went back to Philippines to marry my childhood classmate, we were together and the officiant is in Utah).  Processed CR1 all the way.

I am USC.  I have CEMAR, but I also have Divorce Decree.  So in US law, am free to marry.  CR1 approved, NVC processed, Visa acquired, CFO acquired - hubby is here (US) with me now.  On a separate processing, we filed for ROM.. and by CFO time, the ROM has not made it to PSA, but we just had to explained that to Counselor.  Hubby got his CFO in 4 days (rather than within a day) coz a supervisor needs to confirm our plea of ROM on PSA doc not yet available.  But we do have the registered ROM copy, and that is the one we submitted to CFO.  Hope this helps!

Just addition - the ROM/PSA is not needed in CR1 processing (USCIS, NVC nor USEM).  We only thought needing it for CFO, but you will hear from others that they did not file ROM at all.  I suggest filing (if you marry outside Philippines) just in case the CFO becomes strict with the process.  At least you can say, it is in process.    We now have PSA MC, but have no use for it yet.

Btw, how are you checking if PSA has it ready? I've only read of others trying to order copies on https://www.psaserbilis.com.ph/ , and paying to see if they'll have it (and not getting a refund if they don't). Is there another way to just check records, without paying for copies?

Not that am aware off.  Applied 5 PSA copies in August 2022 hoping we are able to use 1 for CFO application - but money wasted, we got 5 copies of response that it is unavailable/still in archive.  We are still able to secure CFO (providing DFA correspondent).  Applied 1 copy on Sept 11, got positive document response Sept 14.

We just got my step son's ROM back.  It took 4 months.  They say up to another year before PSA will have the actual marriage certificate.

We got our PSA MC (Utah/SF Consulate) in 4 months after ROM registration date.  ROM registered on May 2022, requested PSA on August 2022 (unavailable), requested PSA on Sept 2022, and got a positive response and got out copy.

Here's a question that comes to mind after a year of waiting for a spouse visa. Has a K-3 visa ever, in the history of the United States, been issued?

Yes.  You can check Visa Statistics.

Though DFA have sent us the transmission notice (in July, registered in May at SF), it was not readily available from PSA archive.  When we requested last month (Aug), we got response that it is unavailable.    But no worries, it did not affect our petition.  We were able to secure CFO for my husband ( which is where you will need the MC).. my hubby is now here with me in US.  I just 'tried' to request for ONE copy of PSA MC again yesterday... Just for personal copy, nothing to use it for.  I just want to know if it is available already, so not to waste much money. (We did request 5 copies in August, and all we got are 5 printed that it was not available yet from PSA - yeah, what a waste!).  We are married via Utah Web-conferencing as well.

Here is our email to: oca.crd-us@dfa.gov.ph to request transmittal details:

Good afternoon!  I would like to request an update for the availability of the Transmittal details. Attached herewith is the ROM copy.  Thank you very much!

    Registry Number:  ROM-SF-2022-XXX
Date of Registration:  May XX, 2022

I would like to request from your good office the Transmittal Details so that we can request a PSA document of our Marriage Certificate.

Here is the information being requested by psaserbilis:
    (1) DFA REFERENCE NUMBER
    (2) DISPATCH NUMBER
    (3) DISPATCH DATE
    (4) TRANSMITTAL DATE

    Best Regards,

    Your Name

Follow-up on this... my order of 1 copy finally have positive result.  We have 1 copy of the ROM, just received yesterday.

I think OP was unlucky to encounter consulate staff who were strict with the naming convention.  I'm also surprised they didn't just accept the name on the US birth certificate.

I have filed ROB (PCG LA); ROM(PCG SF) - so far, they accept the forms as what I filled out >> matching the official document (birth; marriage-with new legal name diff from my birth).  If they returned, I would have responded back that it was filled out as per reference to current legal document to support the Report.  :)

Hello, I'm looking online, Is this the right thing to buy? It's the only thing with alot of pages and it's only $9.00 with 40 pages, which matches the 40 pages in the decree I have so I think its that, but Wanna make sure.. sorry I feel so stupid lol...

    Screenshot (19).png

Yes, that's the one.  They change fees now.  - it made sense, now that it is electronic.. mine came out to $7.60 ($5 +1 + 1.6) now, Oct last year was $26.    Yours is $9 ($5 + $1 (first 10 pages)  + 3 (last 30 pages).

It will be emailed to you right away after payment, with attached zip..(at least, this was in October 2021).

  18. 37 minutes ago, Nickm1002 said:

I actually just have the 40 pages from when my lawyer gave it, I was just going to copy all 40 and send it.

Depending on price to copy I may just go to the district office and pick up a copy there, I live really close

It's a dollar per page.  So $40 for you.  And they email you a zipped copy (found my receipt and email).  Maybe you can ask the digital copy from your Lawyer?    If your printed copy is clear/neat, you can probably scan it and produce a good pdf copy.

    Hi all,

I just spoke to a live chat agent at USCIS regarding our I-130 case being transferred this year. We started out in the Potomac Service Center. The live chat agent informed me our case was transferred to Vermont. I am thinking around early September. The Vermont Service Center has a processing time of 16 months. Our priority date is September 27, 2021. The earliest we can contact USCIS for inquiry on our case is June 21, 2023. This is a setback I feel for our case.

Does anyone have any suggestions or tips for next steps to take (besides waiting) for our case?

    Thanks.

    Diane😇

Did you file online?  If yes, the first SC is the Acceptance facility.  They then can re-assign to another for load balancing.  You will not be notified of this reassignment.  Mine was accepted in Nebraska.  I asked Emma and it is in Vermont, here is a screenshot of my post last October 2021.
