  1. Yes, mine says "At NVC". Not sure about it changing though.
  2. I've seen some May DQs have interviews scheduled in September. I hope this doesn't mean that September interviews are complete and they are now looking at October.
  3. @Nesaliba @ConsistentCut @lemurianelf - looks like we all got DQ'd in June. Did any of you hear anything yet? Or have any idea when to expect?
  4. Hi @chaoticenergy, this was the most confusing part for us and set us back 4 months. Each time you submit, you get sent back to the end of the line and have to wait 2 months for them to review your documents. We had to submit twice. I am not a lawyer or an expert in this topic so I will just let you know what exactly happened with us and what I submitted and you can proceed with your case as you see fit. Please see the screenshot that's above (or attached - not sure how it will show). We submitted our documents initially on October 20th, 2021. We received a review note on January 25th, 2022. It said "Please upload and submit [Petitioner]'s most recent Wage and Income IRS tax transcript". So you can see on January 25th, 2022 we submitted the Wage and Income Transcript. On April 18th, 2022, we received another review note stating the exact same thing as before. This time, we submitted the Tax Return Transcript. On June 29th, 2022 we got DQ'd. I don't understand the wording at all. They asked for Wage and Income but, weren't satisfied until they got the Tax Return Transcript. A few things to note here though: 1. Notice how the Wage and Income Transcript we submitted on January 25th, fell under "Additional AOS Supporting Documentation" and the final document we submitted - the Tax Return Transcript fell under "Required AOS Documents". 2. I read somewhere on this forum as well that the Document Type is important too - that the document you're submitting should be uploaded under the correct category/document type. Not sure if that's true or not. 3. Don't go off of the "Accepted" status as any document we uploaded that was relevant to our case was Accepted. It didn't mean it led to DQ. So in summary, I'm not sure where we went wrong. Perhaps the error was on our part. Perhaps it's the way we uploaded the document or perhaps the wage and income transcript we submitted on January 25th, was indeed the right document but, they needed to see additional documents and so that is why they requested the second one. I am not sure. Apologies if I could not be more help. Best of luck!
  5. @Hawk Riders My case was DQd on June 29th. Waiting for IL! Even after being DQd, there is a review note that my AOS isn't sufficient. This is because my wife was a student at the time of our document submission and now she is working full time where her income is more than sufficient but, it wasn't reflected on her tax forms. The note says that we may submit documents on CEAC for a joint sponsor and they will be reviewed by the officer at the consulate. We have a joint sponsor and have completed the AOS form and have gathered allt he tax returns and transcripts as well as mortgage information to show asset ownership. Do I just submit all of this on to CEAC? This won't delay me receiving my IL right?
  6. Is the approximate time to receive an interview letter 2 months? I got DQ'd June 29th - wondering when approximately I could expect an IL. How do you check your status from this point on? The CEAC website just says my documents were accepted.
  7. Hello, Our case got DQd on June 29th, 2022 and we are currently waiting for an email regarding next steps. In addition to the DQ notice, we received a review note that stated the following: "This case does not meet the minimum income requirement to sponsor the intending immigrants. To avoid delays, an additional Affidavit of Support Form I-864 from a joint sponsor may be submitted. The consular officer will make a decision regarding this requirement at the time of the interview." My wife had just graduated University and started her first job at the time of this sponsorship process and so her tax documents at the time I guess did not satisfy the minimum income requirements. As we went along the process, she got a new job and has been there for almost a year and we uploaded documents showing her current salary which more than meets the requirements. I didn't think we needed to have a joint sponsor because of this. Now that this note is on our file, we have a joint sponsor and we have completed the AOS form and gathered the financial documents to support it. In terms of uploading this on to CEAC, is there a specific way this must be done? Firstly because this is a joint sponsor and secondly because NVC has already accepted our previous documents and have stated we are documentary qualified. So I'm wondering if we just upload as normal or do something differently. It even says "an additional Affidavit of Support Form I-864 from a joint sponsor may be submitted". I would like to do so anyways to avoid any further conflicts, delays, or issues. Secondly, at the time of me submitting my civil documents, my passport was not expired. It expired throughout the process. I have renewed my passport and have both my old and new ones with me. Should I be uploading the new one on to CEAC or is this not necessary? I'm assuming I should still bring both to the interview? Thank you for the help and feedback!
