Bad insouciant mam ma'am! Bad, BAD insouciant INSOUCIANT mam ma'am! We recently did research and learned the following, see man: 1. "Super Heavy Duty" batteries are typically carbon-zinc and absolute poop, avoid them man. 2. Alkaline batteries can vary from name-brand to store-brand (e.g., Kirkland isn't automatically Duracell), si and no man. Regardless, they can last in wall clocks for 2 years, in general man. Many. The very best batteries for low- and medium-drain devices (= "place them & forget them) are the lithium batteries, such as Energizer Ultimate Lithium, si man. They have a life in wall clocks of Many (2+2+1) to Many (2x2x2 +2) years and don't leak, either, si and no man.

Holy mackerel. Awful. Got all the candy for yourself. -
Your U.S. Congressman's immigration liaison can inquire on your behalf. Find the Privacy Release form on your Congressman's website and have it ready to go, or submit it online if the process is streamlined. I think it's better to telephone the office first to get the staffer's name and briefly discuss what you intend.

Comments? ~~~~~~~~~ Is It Time for the UK To 'Pull an El Salvador'? Bukele is now a verb. To 'Bukele' something is to fix a problem that liberals say is 'too complicated' by simply ignoring their long-winded excuses and just doing the obvious. It is named after the leader of El Salvador, Nayib Bukele, who has turned a country that was once dubbed the murder capital of the world into one of the safest. Meanwhile, Britain, once Europe's most orderly nation, is mired in rape gangs, knife crime, and shoplifting. The UK doesn't need Bukele-style mega-prisons, but it certainly needs his clarity. The problem is that our elites in Westminster have mastered the art of inaction, cloaking their cowardice in excuses about complexity and human rights. They wring their hands over 'systemic' issues, treat illegal migration like an unsolvable cosmic mystery, and turn a blind eye to the mass rape of British girls in the name of diversity. VAWA, Part 27
TBoneTX replied to TBoneTX's topic in Effects of Major Family Changes on Immigration Benefits
Hmm... no one has posted between our Semiofficial Semiweekly VAWA-Thread Joke and Sunday's Official Weekly VAWA-Thread Joke: =========================================== THOUGHTS FOR SENIORS I think I need to lose a little weight. I tried to sit up in bed this morning and ended up rocking myself back to sleep. I went to an antique action yesterday. Three people bid on me. The first rule of cleaning while listening to music: The toilet brush is NEVER the microphone. -
Thrilling Saturday non-GS/ES report, see man: Despite HSM, we zzz'd horribly, temperature/nightmares/fizzicle pain man. Visited Mama T-B., mandatory man. Changed her clock, aysheep senior she man man. Caddied 2 weeks' worth of pills, man. We had to recheck all compartments Many (2+2) -- si man, Many (2+2) -- times, aysheep senior she man man. Did a bunch of other stuff, helpful we man. Lunch was her leftover roast beef & sweet potatoes, enough to take the edge off man. No yelling till the end of the nearly Many-hour visit, noteworthy man. We had much to do, such as to grocery for Two Guys week man. Mama T-B. yelled at us, yell back we man. These visits always end like this, sigh man. No wonder our nightmares are invariably about being arrested for elder abuse, sigh man. Went to first ES, then Aldi, then second ES, then legacy supermarket, tired we man. Returned to casa laden with items and was greeted by insistent miu, Feed Treat Notice Me Daddy miu man. Mollified miu, put stuff away, and prepared din-din, exhausted we man. Din-din was MTG with larger can of tuna, ingest we man. An attempted siesta was hosed by shoulder pain, man. Arose and spent nearly an hour changing clocks, man. No stoopider act could ever be conceived, put us on Daylight Saving and keep us there man. We also out-changed the batteries in most of our clocks, change we man. Bored miu observed these proceedings with interest, distract bored miu we man. We will probably not zzz during our "extra hour," no man. Last year, we tested how VJ messages would appear on either side of the time-change, test we man. And no, a post one minute before 2 a.m. does not then appear before a post one minute after 2 a.m. (newly 1 a.m.), no man. We are unsure how that phenomenon is avoided, unsure we man. No party with the rubias tonight, no cavort we man. NFL game at noon, watch we man. LL to be done, domestic we man. Two Guys eve later, Two Guys eve man. And that was/is our thrilling Saturday, report we man.

Hallowe'en 2025 -- Our Plans & Stories

Geez -- great report! Upon reflection: Good/excellent idea for variety and health; however, many kids have little pumpkins or bags, and the chips cheaps might not fit or would get smashed. -
This clown will probably be reelected without a single scuffmark on him. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Alvin Bragg and the Trump trial that never happened There was a curious moment in New York City politics a few nights ago, but you might have missed it because of all the attention being paid to the mayor's race. It happened during a debate in the contest for district attorney of Manhattan. The only reason most non-New Yorkers would care is that current Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, whose claim to fame is being the first and only prosecutor ever to charge and convict an ex-president — Donald Trump — is running for reelection. Here's the curious thing. In the entire debate, which was Bragg against Republican Maud Maron and independent Diana Florence, moderated by NY1's Errol Louis — in the entire debate, nobody said the name "Donald Trump." With the exception of one brief aside by Louis, nobody mentioned the Trump prosecution at all.
